The beer is very good. The prices are reasonable, and the service is friendly. It is perfectly located with a huge amount of parking in the rear. Not the fanciest place in the world and food is very limited. But you are going for the beer. Nice spot to meet before hitting one of the local restaurants

Wow! Had a flight of six and loved them all. The “flagship” banana bread was spectacular. Dave is the best beertender ever. Informative and funny. Put this one in your travel plans.

If you're in the area, or even a bit outside, Village Idiot is a great brewery to visit. Excellent variety, comfortable tasting space, and conveniently located near food options to eat and enjoy. Their beer is fantastic, especially if you like more than IPAs.

Great beer brewed right on the premises. Good prices and beer to go. They allow pizza and other food from the local eateries to be brought in to eat with their beer. Fun place fro a group .

When visiting another near-by brewery stop here. You will enjoy the cozy atmosphere and the fun bartenders. Oh and please by all means DRINK the beer. A nice verity from lagers on up to peanut butter chocolate porter and even a tasty nitro stout. You will have a happy time here. :) Also you can go across the street for pizza and bring it there to eat ( While you drink of course)

I have heard some positive comments in the past about the Village Idiot Brewery and I was not disappointed. It is located in a quaint old building with plenty of free parking in a back lot. A good variety of quality brews. My party and I shared 2 flights of beers and they all were good. They had a couple made with peanut butter and we particularly enjoyed the Peanut Butter Cup, a peanut butter chocolate Porter, which tasted some much like a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup. So unusual. No food served, but there is a pizza restaurant directly across the street where you can order from, one down the corner, and other places within walking distance. There is also delivery. We will be back again.

This is a great friendly little place with some exception beer. They don’t have food, but there is several eateries close by so you can bring in your own food and enjoy it with their great beer. They make really good seasonal beer like pumpkin beer for Halloween and a couple brews I really like for Christmas time. Their pumpkin beer is the best I have had. Thursday night is trivia night and lots of fun. If your looking for a fun and friendly little place to hang out, maybe get a bite to eat and drink some really good beer, this is the place.

This was a surprise.
Quaint,friendly,inviting.
Games available to play while sampling ales.Directly across the street is a pizza and Italian food joint,should you want .

Been wanting to stop here for awhile and finally got the chance. Had no problem with on the street parking. the place works on a token system instead of a cash bar. Not bad once I got the hang of it. There is a bar area, tables and sitting areas. Also a little hang spot out back. But the real story here is the beers. Delicious! I think there were 12 on tap with quite the varieties. Sours, stouts, IPA's. lagers, ales. Were shared a sampler of 6 to get started and there wasn't one that I was not impressed with. We then started sampling the rest. Pours are available in 4, 8 or 16oz. Growlers 32oz only and crowlers were available to go. We enjoyed every pour. There was an open mic going on, which was a bit too loud, but ok. Lots of local food places to order from. The staff was efficient but not particularly overly hospitable. Very comfortable taproom. I will definitely stop back because of the quality of the brews.
