Princeton University's Chapel is amazing! The word 'chapel' conjures up the image of a small space for quiet reflection and prayer. While it is quiet, as it should be, it is anything but small. The chapel is beautiful and very large. Built around 1920 I believe and in the collegiate gothic style as many of Princeton's building are it is a wonderful place to visit if you are in Princeton. Just a short walk, maybe 100 yards into the campus from Nassau Street, you will come to the front entrance. When inside turn around to see the huge pipe organ in the balcony above the entrance. Christmas concerts there are amazing! Very cool place that is worth the visit especially if you like gothic architecture.

The Princeton University chapel is a lovely building and located right in the middle of the main campus. It's well worth a visit when you ar ein Princeton.

This church is definitely worth going to see. It was huge and beautiful. I was taken away by it all. My favorite was all of the engravings in the walls regarding past students and teachers. I could have been there all day reading them.

Beautiful Chapel on the campus of Princeton University. Although I would not categorize this as a chapel. The architecture of this gothic building fits right in with the old charming buildings of the campus. Breath taking stained glass, amazing acoustics and finely crafted woodwork. It is a serene and tranquil place to visit.

Visited while walking around campus. Gorgeous gothic university chapel, third largest in the world. Enjoyed walking around but would have loved to attend a service or hear a concert. Highly recommend!

The Princeton University Chapel, designed by Ralph Adams Cram, is a collegiate gothic masterpiece. The chapel is a special and holy space, highlighted by beautiful woodwork, stonework, and stained glass windows. Particularly impressive is the iconography of the stained glass windows high on the south wall. Among those honored in these unusual windows (for a chapel) are outstanding law givers such as James Madison, Class of 1771, and outstanding theologians and teachers such as Princeton Presidents Jonathan Edwards and John Witherspoon.

This beautiful chapel has a Gothic style immerse in a modern context. Great pieces of religious art, amazing lighting, and superb acoustic, makes you feel special in this sacred place!

La cappella dell’Università di Princeto si trova all’interno del campus universitario. È visitabile liberamente entrando dall’entrata principale dell’università, ed è una visita assolutamente da fare.
Bellissime sono le finestre adornate da splendidi rosoni e l’atmosfera ricorda le chiese medievali inglesi.
All’interno di questa cappella vengono gli studenti e i docenti a pregare e vengono effettuate le più importanti funzioni religiose.
Fa parte del campus ed è uno degli elementi che lo rendono ricco di contenuti e assolutamente fascinoso.

If we're talking about the same glass windows, one of the images is that of Melchizidek, who was the first priest of The Bible. We find Melchizidek early on in the Old Testament, where Moses gives a great donation to him. He is mentioned again in the Book of Psalms. In Psalm 110, it reads, "Thou art a priest forever after the order of Melchizedek."
