We had company in town and brought them to Lambertville. It’s a great town to walk around with plenty of antique shops and restaurants.
We stopped at the Tomasello Winery tasting room. It’s setup like a cafe with small round tables with seating. Their product is various tastings of different combinations of their wines, you choose five or six wines from a large list, which are poured out in plastic cups setup on a chrome tray. This is delivered to your table along with a Riedel wine tasting glass, which is yours to keep. The tasting costs about $17 and includes crackers to cleanse your palate,
The coup,w behind the bar counter are very welcoming and friendly. It was a great experience.
They do offer food, like a cheese or charcuterie platter.
This was a good experience. Our guests liked it a lot.

Wine connoisseurs beware! Or persons who want to enjoy a great wine tasting experience. Do not visit the Tomasello Smithville, NJ "The Village" location. The level of service provided by Steve and the staff was horrendous! They started off there poor welcome with a distasteful standoffish greeting followed by a sour puss attitude. We never once got the wine tasting experience that I paid for. What we received instead was blantant racism at its finest.

The staff person behind the counter was rude when we entered the room. We were looking around and she immediately stated, “if you want a tasting it will be a 2 hour wait.” We really just wanted to purchase a bottle of wine. We left without making a purchase. What has happened to customer service? Don’t stop here!

The fellow who took our orders was so positive, upbeat, and fun. He was very knowledgeable and helpful when we asked questions. I had never been to a wine tasting room before and it was a pleasant experience.

Even if you do not get to Tomasello winery itself you get the taste of their wines in Village Green in Smithville. Tomasello is one of the oldest wineries in NJ. Good place to enjoy the tasting and buy wine related gifts for the wine lovers on your gift list.

Located in the charming Smithville Village, the Tomasello tasting room is attractive, with pretty displays and their large selection of wine. They observe all protocols for tasting and the space is large enough to socially distance. We particularly like their sweet wines in the Rainier collection; red, white and rose. They produce a seasonal spiced wine, with a very pretty label. Staff is friendly and accommodating.

Went during holiday to Philadelphia. We had a lovely visit there. Most hospitable gentlemen who were so interesting and helpful. 5 wines to sample! Left with complimentary glass, wine bottle bag and a free bottle of choice. I chose a Blueberry Port!! Well worth the visit

My mom and I recently attended a wine tasting at the Tomasello winery tasting room at Smithville. The staff was so friendly and knowledgeable. I've always had Tomasello's fruit dessert wines available in grocery stores, but have never tried their drier wines. Some of my favorites were the Petit Verdot, Cabernet Franc, and the Chambourcin. However, we ended up taking home a bottle of the Cherry Moscato since my mom likes sweeter wines and we wanted something we could share. The cherry moscato has an amazing flavor and sort of a carbonated feel to the it. It certainly goes down easily!

This review is for the Wyckoff Location
Tomasello Winery has couple of locations around NJ, one of those locations is at Abma’s Farm in Wyckoff. It's a small area in the farm but definitely worth a try. It was a fun and relaxing experience.
Tomasello offer Groupon for wine tasting. It includes 2 souvenir wine glasses, 1 year membership and 2 bottles of wine. They have wines for all kind of palate.
If you go to Wyckoff location, ask for Mike. He is excellent

Started in smithville for a couple nights purchased on groupon. Along with our reservation we got a coupon for free wine tasting. The wine was very good. I bought 4 bottles. I forget the guy who was working but he was good. What disappointed me was that you only got to taste 4 (maybe 5) different wines. Maybe only 2 swallows per cup. It was free so I couldn't be too upset but if I had paid I would have excepted more. But again the taste was very good
