It is like going back in time! So much to see and do! We would have loved to do the rides, but they are so expensive! It would be great if they sold a bracelet/day pass so you can go on unlimited rides instead of having to buy tickets and give tickets at each ride! So many shops for souvenirs, fudge, candy etc. Not to forget about the beach also! Very clean!

Michelle is amazing! Go to the bar and see her she is so fun and will make you feel like home. Hotel room was comfortable and clean.

We just spent 4 days in Wildwood. We're not more than a few hours away, but have never been there! Keep in mind this time of year is considered slow season and we were on the boardwalk no later than around 9pm. We stayed in a motel 1 1/2 blocks from the Robert's Street entrance. We were surprised by several things (good and not so good). The boardwalk was well maintained, relatively clean and free of anything that I would deem unsavory or unsafe. There is often the wafting odor of weed, so be prepared for that. There is a Tram Car that will drive you up and down the boardwalk for 4.00 each way. Well worth it after walking 2.5 miles one way. There are discount passes I believe. Every vendor and vacation goer that we interacted with was kind and friendly. There were police seen, but they did not seem to enforce the no dogs or no bike riding rules. We did not go on any rides, but the piers with rides and games were clean and everything looked fresh and appealing. I did not care for the fact that once you hit the boardwalk, the trek to the beach is looong...a few blocks equivalent I'd guess. There is a beach taxi on one section of beach that will drive you down to the water. The sand was clean, the water nice, there were port o pots, umbrella rentals and roaming iced coffee and ice cream carts on the beach. Overall, we thought this was nicer than Ocean City Maryland's boardwalk. Pricing is as you'd expect for a resort area, although anything we bought to eat was pretty darn good (except a 10 dollar waffles and ice cream-the waffles were pre made then heated up in the waffle iron; yuck). I'd recommend going off season as the hotel prices and crowds are less.

A great and famous fun place for the entire family. Highly recommend visiting this amusement park with lots of rides and ground level vendors, restaurants and bars. We had fun here while on family vacation.

Great boardwalk, they really have improved it from years past. Lots of things to do and see. Great food, great beer, and great people watching. The dog beach is a huge bonus. You can tell that the county and locals are putting a lot of work and money into enhancing the entire community.

for 60 years we love going on the boardwalk, seeing all the shops,the lights & rides, and most of all the tramcar. we love the older tramcars but we do not like the new one. the boardwalk is so much fun for the young & old

My family had a ball visiting the boardwalk. There is something for every age to enjoy. My family stayed in Cape May and all my children wanted to do at night is go to the boardwalk.

Wow! We had such a great time on the boardwalk. We lost track of the time and we had been there ALL day. But there was so much to do. So many shops. We got so tired and needed the tram. Found so many souvenirs to take home. And the view from the boardwalk was outstanding. I do plan on coming back and bringing my husband

The boardwalk is massive. Many people park in nearby parking lots and either walk or take the tram. If you want to take a step back from the fun and excitement, this five miles stretch of island is perfect for families. N beach passes are required like so many other beaches.
The state maintains the beaches and lifeguards. This area is more relaxing with subtle entertainment. This side of Wildwood is for families to enjoy. Many rental properties, hotels and motels are within walking distance to the beach. Many amenities are located nearby including restaurants and some bars.

I know that the town cares about their reputation. It would improve if they would inforce the no smoking, no dogs/pets, no bikes at night rules. So many ignore them. Dogs fighting, flicking sparking butts, bikes and electric skate boards and scooters weaving through the crowd. Tough to enjoy the boardwalk.

I am not sure, now that Covid restrictions are being lifted, I would assume anytime, or possibly, they would start in the early may timeframe when it gets warmer. Its best to call them directly or check the website.

Sorry, did not see any and I traveled down thru Cape May.
Beaches in Wildwood are way away from the boardwalk and not really pretty sand like you might want.

Yes Morey’s pier (amusements) are open there is an Easter egg hunt and many stores on and off boards are open. Fudge store, arcade and restaurants too!

Wildwood has the best dog park on the beach in all of New Jersey. Many activities for both small and large dogs. But dogs may not be on the people part of the beach. You will need to check with the hotels to determine what their policy is regarding pets. Each one varies. Sometimes the boardwalk is crowded and you will want to avoid those times for your doggie. Sunny afternoons and warm summer evenings bring out the biggest crowds to the Boardwalk..
