Splits in two Berat place very clean and well maintained always full of people and tourists at any time of day and night. Along the way numerous bars, restaurants, pizzerias and souvenir shops.

We walked along this wide artery to the city's old university (a sort of colonnaded White House) now transformed into a 5-star hotel. This street is lined with restaurants and is very well laid out and pleasant for walking.

Here is the center of movement in the city, with many restaurants, bars and cafes. It gets very crowded, because everyone goes there for a walk at night.

Avenue in the center of Berat, right parallel to the river. Spacious, with many terraces and restaurants. Very pleasant to take a walk in the late afternoon. At night it is also very busy. The windows of the illuminated houses provide a beautiful setting.

La parte più "moderna" della città di Berat, al di sotto del castello, dove si trova la maggior parte dei locali e negozi di souvenir. Ampia area pedonale, molto godibile.

A morning or evening stroll on and around Bulevardi Republika in the relaxed town of Berat, Albania is a must do. It had the green Lulishtja park on one side and many cafes and restaurants on the other. The Tomorr Mountain make a stunning backdrop. The perfect place for an Albanian "Xhiro"

The best boulevard for a stroll walk, on the left side there are trees and some benches, on the right there are restaurants and cafes. In front of you, you will see the iconic houses with windows of Berat. If you do not feel like going up the castle, this is a great place to spent time. But remember it is very short.

This is a nice promenade
One side has eateries and bars - hope you like pizzas and pasta
We were there on A Monday night in October and one end in particular all the eateries were packed, but we liked the one we used at the other end
