This little gem near is a fabulous day trip from ABQ or Santa Fe, the staff and guests are always so friendly we always meet new people from all over the world when we visit. They have delicious healthy beverages ( wish they had food, but we always hop over to the Saloon across the street for lunch or dinner, or an after soak cocktail. They only allow 20-30 people at a time and no reservations. However it's never crowded during the week, and we only had to wait a half hour on a very busy weekend one time of the many we have gone.
They have rental towels in case you forgot yours that are nice and fluffy.
And hour is great sometimes we do two, the springs are perfect and they have several pools at varying Temps, lots of places to relax, and you can hear the river running all around the property.
We enjoy it in the summer and even when there's snow.

Stay away from the Jemez Hot Springs!.
I am a wheelchair user. I was ignored, addressed in the third person, profiled, and screened for being in a wheelchair. I was humiliated by the receptionist when she asked my wife in front of other users,“he’s not gonna pee in the pool is he?“.
Then we were gaslighted by the manager, who told us that her employee would not, nor would she ever say what she just said to us. If that were not enough, there are no accessible toilets in the facility.

This is what the rooms really look like very unhappy with our stay, and very unhappy with management had to leave due to un unfortunate circumstances, and still got charged for our stay, even though we didn’t stay

We booked the Red Mesa cabin and it is rustic and nice. However, we booked with Jemez Hot Springs because of the hot springs and were very disappointed that we were unable to use them because they were locked at 5:00 pm and we checked in after 4:00 pm. This business includes renting use of the hot springs, so most tourists are going to expect the hot springs to be available during at least a few evening hours, especially since the earliest check-in time is 3:00 pm. Only allowing access during "banker hours" (9:00 - 5:00) was not what we expected. We do not recommend stopping here during your travels.

The staff and facilities are excellent. The outward appearance is deceptive to the charm and character of the rooms. These are simply furnished and served our party of three well. If I had the chance, I would gladly return again. A spot not to be misssed.

I’m usually good at sussing out if an accommodation is adequate by a close examination of the published photos but not in this case.
We booked the Adobe Cabin - it looked rustically charming online - but in reality the bathing situation was unacceptable. The ceiling height above the clawfoot tub - where you have to stand to shower- was too short for my 6’ 1” husband to stand in while showering. The shower head height was at his neck so he needed to hunch way down to wash his hair.
There is no seating on the front porch area whatsoever. The unit next door had a porch swing but the adobe cabin didn’t.
No privacy in the toilet area - only a saloon type door which does nothing for sights and smells.
When you sit on the toilet, the afternoon sun burns into your eyes because there’s no window coverings whatsoever.
We left about 45 minutes after checking in because this wasn’t an adequate accommodation. No one was around to discuss our issues with - the office closes at 5pm and so do the hot springs.
Don’t book this cabin unless you’re under 5’5” tall or unless you don’t care for showering or toileting privacy.
It looks like it’s possibly a nice place to soak in the springs and stay elsewhere.

Perfect gem of a place to rest and relax in the heated spa waters. We stayed in one of the cabins and couldn't have been happier with the comfortable, quiet, well equipped and nicely decorated cabin. The fact that we were also given 2 complimentary hours in the spa with our booking, was a wonderful treat. The staff were friendly and we loved the tasteful spiritual touches added to the various pools that made this place such a great place for personal reflection.

Spectacular view and experience. A must do if you’re in the area. Excellent customer service as well. I can’t wait to go back another time.

Nestled in a canyon, in a very small town everything is within walking distance. Staying in the cabin was great for decompressing. No TV, no outside noise, and dark skies. Restaurants are 1-3 blocks away. Waking up and hitting the pools at 10am opening was awesome! (Spring morning air temp in the 40’s)
The hot springs were awesome. No giant swimming pool with kids running around. Instead, pools of varied sizes and temperatures next to the Jemez River. There’s shade provided by awnings and plenty of seating area. Everything was clean. The layout also has more privacy - in that the sight lines between the pools are blocked. My (new) favorite hot spring.

Stayed at the property and enjoyed the hot springs with my 16 year old daughter. The condo was beautiful and recently updated. The pools were perfect. The little town was so cute and friendly.

Yes. It is pull in parking go inside and lovely path to pools. No hiking.

I think they remain the same throughout the year. The can control the temperature. there were 4 temperatures but I don't recall what they were, hot, warm, cool

No -but there is one down the road (a town hot springs maybe) that is much less posh (less expensive also) where apparently you have a bsthtub type thing in your own private area. We didn’t do that one. Jemez is teeny so you won’t have trouble being directed to either one. Giggling Springs was a highlight for us-we had no idea what to expect but it was not crowded at all and so relaxing.
