Très belle randonnée avec belles vues à la clef !
Prévoir de bonnes chaussures et gourdes d eau.
Pour y accéder il faudra déjà monter un bon quart d eau une route en lacets ( non réalisable en vélo non électrique du fait de la pente, possibilité de s avancer en voiture jusqu'à la randonné) et la randonnée démarrera ensuite directement dans la verdure.
La randonné est d'une durée d environ 1h.

Superbe randonnée d’environ deux heures aller retour depuis le début de la route bétonnée vers Bellevue. Ça grimpe assez fort mais faisable en prenant le temps avec de bonnes chaussures minimum basket. Vue magnifique de là haut.
Prendre beaucoup d’eau. Fait deux adultes et deux ados.

Randonnée beaucoup plus complexe et physique que nous pensions. Pourtant nous étions bien préparés, avec des bonnes chaussures, de l'eau. Et nous avons l'habitude de faire des randonnées.
La route qui mène au début du sentier (ou au restaurant Belle Vue) vous coupera déjà les jambes tellement c'est raide et sans fin. Ensuite sur le sentier, il se sépare en deux sections peu de temps après le début. La section qui part à droite est beaucoup plus difficile à monter... Nous sommes partis sur celle ci, sans le savoir. Une fois en haut la vue est magnifique.

Point culminant de la digue, 333 m d’altitude. Première partie bitumée très pentue, on laisse les vélos en chemin. petite pause au restaurant Bellevue pour admirer le paysage panoramique, puis encore un quart d’heure de marche sportive pour aller jusqu’à l’ascension du nid d’aigle. vue exceptionnelle sur toutes les îles à 360°, prévoir de l’eau et au minimum des baskets. 2h aller retour depuis la passe.

Хорошее развлечение на отдыхе. Устать можно уже при подъёме наверх, крутые подъёмы дороги. Иногда трудно, иногда легко, в общем не пожалели. У нас подготовка была небольшая, гулять привыкли по 10-12 км, поэтому больших проблем не было. Надевать лучше кроссовки, брать с собой воду, Желательно смотреть прогноз погоды, чтобы не было дождей. В некоторых местах может размыть почву и станет опасно ходить. На полпути между конечными точками есть развалины дома, если не доходить до них, слева есть третья тропа вниз, выглядит как красный след от дождя, мы спускались там.

A must do in La Digue – the highest peak on the island. Stunning landscape from the top! About 2h30 min walking time on foot from La Passe, the last 45 min being a medium hike. Cinnamon, vanilla, palm trees at almost every step. A sign from Bell Vue Restaurant tells you that a circular trail is available from that point, however as far as we know the way back is the same as the way up.

We got a taxi to the Belle View restaurant (well, we are in our 60s) and had a great juice and loved the view. Then we went up some steps just above the restaurant (to the right of a new building being constructed above the restaurant) and up a narrow and very steep path, following the Maps.me trail, which showed the path forking soon. We meant to take the left hand fork but missed it and ended up on a very steep path to End of the World on maps.me, signs giving info on vanilla etc so pretty sure this was the right path. It was pretty scary in places. We met a young couple coming down who’d only got half way up but were wearing flip flops. Struggling on there was a path on from End of the World, not shown on maps.me, and we got up that somehow to the top at Nid D’aigle . Fabulous view. Sign at top says End of Trail.
Continuing the circular trail on was much easier. You need to take a left hand fork down to get back to Belle View where there’s a signpost on to Roche Mai. A lovely walk down to Belle Vue and back to the harbour

It took us well over 2 hours plus time for picnic at the top.
Wear good footwear.
Take water and snacks.
Good phone signal so take photo of emergency number.
You could do the left hand trail and back down the same route. If doing circular route suggest you go anti-clockwise as I’d hate to be going down the more difficult trail with loose stuff underfoot.
Don’t do in wet weather.
Continuing the circular trail on was much easier. You need to take a left hand fork down to get back to Belle View where there’s a signpost on to Roche Mai. A lovely walk down to Belle Vue and back to the harbour

Très belle ballade dans la jungle. Sportive, ça monte très dur mais une fois tout en haut qu’elle belle vue! Il y a deux sentiers, celui de gauche (quand on est en bas) est beaucoup plus facile que celui de droite. Nous y sommes allés après la pluie ventait très glissant. Nous avons mis 2h20 en tout À/R à partir du chemin en bas - laissez les vélos au bord de la route en bas, la pente est trop raide pour les pousser jusqu’en haut

Vi tok turen til toooen en dsg det var overskyet og regnet. Flott tur som tok 75 min opp og en time ned og til Island lodge. Husk gode sko og nok drikke og litt mat. Det var glatt noen steder og man måtte klatre også noen ganger. Flott utsikt fra toppen.

Het is een pittige trail maar zeker de moeite waard .
Bespaar je de moeite om naar restaurant Bellevue te fietsen , het is zo steil dat er geen fietsen aan is .
Merendeel laat z’n fiets dan ook langs de weg staan .
De loop naar het restaurant vonden wij het pittigste , in de brandende zon echt steil omhoog lopen .
Vanaf het restaurant is het 30 min naar boven , dit is klim en klauterwerk, door de bossen en veelal schaduw .
Bij nat weer kan het erg glad zijn en heb je je houvast aan de bomen echt nodig .
Op een gegeven moment kom je het bordje baie Roche tegen , zie foto.
Hier moet je rechtsom de hoek om en dan is het nog een kleine 5 min voor het eindpunt , bordje end of trail .
Volg het pad , er lopen andere paadjes maar dat is geen doen, levensgevaarlijk .
Uitzicht is geweldig en de moeite waard zeker met helder weer kan je rondom kijken .
Naar beneden rustig aan doen, erg glad en soms slecht begaanbaar .
