Plage sympathique avec de l'ombre pour les leve-tots. Nage délicate à marée basse. Endroit agréable avec palmiers, rochers et sable blanc. Le reste des plages decette côte est inintéressant à marée basse. Restaurant l'océan à proximité

A marée haute des rouleaux, peu de place sur le sable pour mettre sa serviette et question snorkeling trop agitée pour voir quelque chose. Juste avant c’est bien mieux à anse Sévère

Questa è una spiaggia molto piccola e super affollata, ma l’acqua è bella e nonostante la tanta gente piena di pesci. La location poi è favolosa con i massi di granito sparsi sulla costa.

On my day trip to La Digue, out of Praslin, the only place possible for a pleasant swim - as I found out - was Anse Patate at the island's northern tip, since all the other beaches I passed by - from Anse Source d'Argent to Anse Severe - were at low tide or exposed to winds. This was in the month of November.
When at the road above the beach, quite a few biciycles were parked there, which showed that this is a popular place to got for a swim. And from above it also looked like a typical Seychellois sandy beach-granite boulders paradise.

En faisant le tour de la Digue, vous remarquer surement cet Anse, fait y un arrêt pour une baignade ou un peu de snorkeling! ( c'est une des meilleures anse pour faire de la plongé!)

Small beach on the north shore of La Digue. Very nice bike ride up here from the Jetty area.
You’ll want to enter the water from the ride side (closer to the boulders) to avoid the submerged rocks. Snorkeling was OK when we went, not as good as Anse Severe, but in fairness we did not go out very far from shore. Water was beautiful in April with zero seaweed.
Note that due to the size of the beach and the numerous lodging options nearby, this place gets packed. Arrive early if you want a spot in the shade.

Small but stunning beach. Quite shallow so reef shoes strongly advised. There is a turtle and sting ray that seem to never leave, we'd always se them. Best snorkeling is close to the rocks to the left of hotel as you face thesea. MUCH better at high tide.

Covid19 ermöglicht es (endlich), dass die Seychellen wieder zu einem irdischen Paradies werden. Der vorher zerstörende Massentourismus ist einer Idylle gewichen. Möge es noch lange so bleiben, dass man Natur pur geniessen kann.
