Boat launch & boat rental shop here at southern most tip of Keuka Lake in Hammondsport,, NY Great docks and easy access to the lake. Or just find a park bench and enjoy the view of the lake.

we had a picnic at the park since it was a gorgeous day. Would have been nice to have few more tables and bench seating.

This is a beautiful park adjacent to the motel that I stayed in and the town of Hammondsport. Love walking through and enjoying the beautiful views.

We were walking around downtown and stopped here to enjoy the view. The leaves had changed and the view was amazing. A bunch of boats had gathered and everyone was dressed for Halloween and tipsy, so it was entering to watch.

We have been to this park before. On this visit it was nearly impossible to walk along the docks or near the water. It was thick with goose droppings. Someone must clean this during the swimming season or no one would go near that beach. Maybe after Labor Day they just let it go. It is sad. I would suggest visiting this park only in the summer high season.

...when the sun is shining. You are at the bottom of the lake looking generally north with shores to the east and west. Lifeguard on duty. Nice park.

Travelled to the south end of the lake and ended up in Hammonsport/Urbana. Came across an old train station that functions as a police sub-station, washrooms and change rooms in Depot Park. Took a swim in a roped off area of the alke that was protected by 2 lifeguards. Water was clean and refreshing. Changed back into street clothes and were on our way. Also an area to tie up your boat with access to hydro outlets at the old station. A nice place to stop.

Great place to sit and relax. Jumped off the dock in the swim area to cool of in the cool clear water. Nice view up the lake and the hills on both sides.

Nice place for a walk at sunset. We strolled along here after dinner and the cool breeze off the lake was a nice wrap up for the day.

So dumb rules put people lives at risk. What idiot would make a rule than any age person wanting to take a dip in the lake can not use safety flotation devices. Even if it is an approved device. It is clear that the rule makers don’t have the safety of the swimmers in mind.
