Want to local shore dive? Have family who just want to sunbathe? Then Prybil Beach fits the bill! Great scuba diving and swimming and a nice clean beach to relax on!

Everything you would hope for in a beach at sunset. Peaceful, quiet, beautiful vistas, clean sand, easy access, parking, & shower stations. Impromptu stop on way to dinner. Could've stayed all night & just taken in the relaxing scenery. While I can't speak to how good the waves are, the surfers & kayakers appeared to be as happy. Everyone was chill.

Great waves, food, bathrooms for 2022 Surfers Healing Surf Camp. Great venue for Izzy and The Boys to take our Kids with Autism surfing.

This beach is on the Atlantic Ocean. Loved the waves- better than P-town Cape Cod. Lots of surfers too
Clean facilities and a concession stand. But It is pricey. Day pass $30. Concession stand had fresh offerings but also pricey ($9 for 2 bottles of seltzer)
Bottom line- treat yourself and go (and bring a cooler)

Nice way to end the work week on a Friday evening around 5pm. Life guards were leaving by then but there were a lot of surfers to watch. Nice waves if you are a good swimmer. It was my nieces first time to a beach at age 12 and a year long of spinal surgery. She had a blast. Very clean beach. Did not get to use the facilities but great views.

My favorite beach in North eastern coast of USA. A hidden gem!
Water is crystal clear compare to beaches in Jersey shore.
Very clean and well maintained. Bathrooms are actually clean and have toilet tissues! Shower facility is great as well and you never really need to wait to use it.
Snack shack is good. I also love short walk in the beach to get to the shore.
It's $30 a car but if that's what it takes to keeps crowd away and have always available toilet tissues, I am all for it.

Just. an fyi if you want to use a small beach like the picture which is next to the Ponquogue Bridge you need a resident sticker on your car. Our experience last summer a resident called the police and we had to move.

Beach is absolutely beautiful. Clean and inviting. Sand is soft and not a piece of debris in sight. Lifeguards on duty. Quiet and relaxing. Spotless restrooms. Plenty of parking. The one draw back, the entrance fee. We paid $30 on a Tuesday morning! Place is great but fee is way off.

This beach is a true hidden gem. It is quite huge, very clean and never over crowded. On a beautiful day the beach offers a memorable experience.

Permits are required from 9 am to 9 pm. The daily parking rate for non-residents is $25 per day.

Permits are requited all along Dune Rd. so while the booth may close around 5-ish,tickets are still sometimes written for parked cars without permits. (Particularly on busy,hot summer days.

Directions:
From the Village of Westhampton Beach, go south on Jessup Lane and cross the bridge. Turn right onto Dune Road. Follow Dune Road to its western terminus in Westhampton Beach.
This 296 acre barrier beach park offers lifeguard-supervised swimming, sunbathing on white sand beaches and some of the finest saltwater bass fishing to be had on the Island. Campers and recreational vehicles are permitted along the access road running parallel to the outer beach. Diving is permitted at slack tide on the bay side of the park only. Water depth is approximately 12'. *Recreational Vehicle Permit is required for outer beach access and camping.*
