My favorite book store in the world. In the world! Literally one of my favorite places in the world. In the world! I have turned many people onto its charms and have spent countless hours there since the 1980s.
Great and different selection, new/used, always a snack/lunch bar w/ coffee, great seating upstairs. And a lot of cheap books. It's great. In fact, there were three great book stores in Huntington back in the day, but I think they couldn't compete. As far as I know, it's the only remaining large independent bookstore in Nass/Suff.

I have been there many many times in my life. It is somewhere I need to go every time I stay in Huntington with my grandmother. I have very fond memories of being there and the food was really good. I would definitely recommend going to this store the next time you visit Huntington. :)

Book Revue is a terrific, unique book store. It's located in the center of a thriving town center. There are regular events, guest speakers, and a cafe. The ability to browse in a book store like this is just divine. There are also used books mixed in on the shelves, and many out of print and hard to find books. If they don't have something that you want, they'll get it for you. It's a great place for avid readers, or anyone looking for something special. The political book section is particularly of interest, as is the current events section.

Fresh gourmet cookie, coffee and juice bar inside this used book store.

Two disclaimers here; I am a bibliophile , and I grew up in Huntington. That being said, every bookstore I have ever gone into ( and there have been a lot) get compared to the Book Review, and all fall short, and that includes The Strand in NYC.
Why?
Well, the stock is a primary factor; there is something for everyone. They also have a healthy selection of used books, which I love. The kids section is almost a third of the store, and packed with great reads and bargains.
The staff is knowledgeable and friendly, and the atmosphere encourages lingering. There is an on-site cafe for a snack or coffee, just to prolong the pleasure.
Lastly, if it’s your thing, always be on the lookout for visiting authors; they get some pretty impressive names.
All in all, a great experience for any serious ( or silly) book lover.

Book Revue is a local treasure! It has an amazing selection of books, great people to help you if you need it, and a star-studded list of authors who stop by to visit, talk, and sign their books.

Years ago I was in San Francisco and visited a bookstore that had an in house snack bar and quiet area. Within a few months the Book Revue opened and offered a similar experience and has been improving ever since. From famous authors and personages, signing books and chatting with the patrons to a tasty upscale snack bar with many spots throughout the store to quietly read and you have a winner. Staff is helpful and knowledgeable and they sell the newest of books in all categories and many used hard to find books....sitting side by side on the shelves for ease of comparison. The store sits in the center of a real life small town with a cosmopolitan selection of restaurants and gathering places surrounding it. A great stop for ten minutes or three hours.

My girls and I love to stop in the Book Revue and enjoy browsing through the aisles with the smell of printed pages. It has that true bookstore smell.
I also enjoy the smell of the cafe and the friendly young people who work there. Then I can enjoy my latte while reading my new book.
The Book Revue also brings in a great showing of famous people who are now authors. We really enjoy it there.

What a joy this place is! I have spent many hours visiting this great book store. Famous authors, reviews of best sellers, perusing stacks of books....all these things plus a cup of coffee or tea to comfort you. The staff here are friendly and knowledgeable. Great place to spend a few hours on a rainy day.

A great selection of new and used books. Authors are always coming to talk about their new books. A place to relax with a cup of coffee, a snack, and a good book.
