Captain Rick was a very entertaining and knowledgeable guide on our Anniversary Sunset Cruise. He made our cruise very memorable and fun for my wife and I . We would recommend this experience to all, and will do it again soon.

Everyone should do this the very first day you get to Cayuga Lake! The info shared by our captain was far superior to any pamphlet or website. A great way to cruise the lake. We did the sunset cruise but are already organizing a winery cruise for next summer.

Captain Rick was fantastic! For starters, my daughter dropped her wallet in the water as she was getting on the boat and Rick said, not a problem, got his goggles on, and went in and got it! Excellent guy and the boat ride was a really nice trip around the lake. Highly recommend you take the boat tour! (just hang on to your stuff when you get on the boat...)

Rick was an absolute blast! My family and I originally chartered his boat to enjoy the day on the water. What we ended up getting was an incredible history lesson on the area and many laughs with the captain. He provided great recommendations on wineries in the area and had amazing knowledge on wine in general. He turned a fun boat day into an experience my family will never forget. I can't recommend 'School's Out Charters' enough!

This exceeded my expectations! The boat was clean and timely. We had 4 friends and Captain Rick on board and it was comfortable. The wineries were fabulous!!! Captain Rick was fun and funny and accommodating and knowledgeable and we felt safe. All-in-all I would go again and I’d highly recommend to others. It’s worth it!!

Great trip, interesting tour of the history and real estate of the lake, and puppy friendly! Thanks for the local tips and relaxing trip around Cayuga on your pristine boat!

We had such an amazing time. Captain Rick took us on a four hour winery tour via boat. It was amazing, he put on whatever music we requested. His boat was in perfect condition and a lovely size for our group of 5. We were celebrating a bachelorette. We went to Long Point Winery and Sheldrake. Both were amazing amazing experiences. Rick was also half boat captain, half wine guru. He had a lot of knowledge of each winery and the wines they offer. We had such a blast and it was such the perfect day. Thanks Rick!

We toured with Captain Rick in 2013. We came back and enjoyed a beautiful day on Cayuga Lake yesterday with 4 friends. Stop one was at Longpoint winery for a delicious lunch and a wine tasting. Our second and final stop was Sheldrake winery for a VIP wine tasting with cheese pairing. Wines at both were wonderful. Thank you Captain Rick for fun day. We won't wait 8 years to return.

Amazing sunset boat cruise!! The boat was beautiful and the captain was friendly, professional and very knowledgeable about the lake area. I would highly recommend this boat cruise and I would absolutely do it again!
