We had a lovely couple of hours on this boat trip with views of lighthouses, boats and houses all on the Hudson. The boat was clean and accessible with a small bar service and clean restrooms. Parking is limited but get there early and you’ll be fine.

We took my cousin and her husband from Australia on the cruise and they enjoyed it. the narration was informative. It is a nice way to spend some time on the water. We have taken the cruise before and would recommend a fall cruise to enjoy the leaf colors.

So many people really loved this cruise. We didn’t. I guess our expectations were different. The Hudson River is so wide that any houses on either side look tiny. Also with the motor running it was difficult to hear the narrative over the speakers. And the speakers were pointed towards the stern of the boat. With that said, if you just want a relaxing 90 minutes with the wind in your hair, you just might enjoy it

This was a perfect way to see and learn about the area along the Hudson River. the day was perfect. the captain and attendants were spot on. the boat was clean. everything was well organized. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for some pleasurable time in the river.

I took my teenage niece on this beautiful trip and it was a wonderful time. Relaxing, and just the right amount of time on the Hudson River. Lots to see! Professional staff. The best time to go is during fall foliage season (October)!

Thankfully it is more than riding a boat up and down the river, which would be pretty boring after ten minutes. The company does a good job of combining pre-recorded information and notes from the crew to provide a look at the history and notable sights along the river. You have your choice of sitting bottom or top deck, sun or shade. Would not recommend for families with young children as there is no "excitement" or activity on the tour. The Hudson River Maritime Museum is right there as well - worth a stop before or after.

Boarding and departing ship you will wear your mask, but if you stay with your group in your own area on deck no mask required. Enjoy!

Sorry...just saw this now! Well worth the trip up the Hudson to visit Kingston as British troops did in 1776 when they burned the city to the ground! First capital of NY State with many colonial houses (scorched but rebuilt). Amtrak to Rhinecliff or a car rental will get you there! The cruise is but one attraction so be prepared to spend a weekend in a B&B with side trips to Saugerties and Woodstock as well!

This particular cruise is in Kingston NY, about an hour from Manhattan. Not sure how you would get up there, but you may be able to find one closer out of Manhattan. Enjoy your trip

There are 2 major hotels now and 2 currently being built. One is right next to the Hudson valley mall. The other is along ulster avenue near cvs. About 5-10 min for downtown area where the cruise starts. Hope that helps.

I with 3 others are planning on going on the 2:30 cruise on 7/29, Wed.
1. Do I need to buy tickets in advance?
2, What time do we need to arrive at the dock?
3. It will be hot - is the inside cabin section have a/c?
4. What kind of food & drinks are available on board?

My friend did buy the tickets in advance but you can purchase the tickets right before you go. Give yourself about 45 minutes before hand if you need to purchase the tickets. The night we went they had vendors set up downstairs and the doors were open so I do not think the a/c was on if they had it. Their was a cool breeze while the boat was moving. They had finger foods such as veggie platter, and chips and cheeses. We went after work so stopped afterwards to get Burger King, eat before hand. They had cash bar for beers and mixed drinks reasonable prices I am sure soda and water will be available for purchase. Have fun it was enjoyable.
