Tymor is a beautiful town park with history. It has a stream, lake, man made waterfalls and hiking trails to view them. It also has a pool for town residents

My children loved going to Tymor Park every summer. Great camp program and park is kept up very nicely. Swimming Pool is a definite plus. They have many programs year round for the community.

We attended a party under the pavilion at Tymor Park. Numerous people were under cover during rainbows. There were plenty of picnic tables for all. Restrooms and playground equipment were steps away. There was ample parking. The swimming pool was not yet open for the season, but the area looked clean and well maintained. People were fishing and we drove by baseball fields. Fun for everyone!

This out of the way gem is somewhat of a hidden secret. Hike to the stream, the dam and the falls. Easy hike if you stay straight and heads towards pond ( which is like glass), or stay on the path to the right for a little more of a challenge. It is a great little hike! My adult children and I love to hike here.

Spend a few hours hiking through the extensive trail system at Tymor Park. We enjoy meandering over the stream and searching for trout. The trail loops around through the forest to a lake. Follow the trail as it loops back to the playground with many surprises along the way. Finally take a rest as the children play on the new playground equipment.

This park is extremely clean and family oriented. There are hiking trails, and lots to do. The town hosts many events in this park, including the Community Day Firework display and the Ocktoberfest!! It's fantastic!!! There are volleyball nets, a playground for the little ones, and a swimming pool. During the summer, they have a day camp, swimming lessons, and a swim team. There are 2 gazebos to stay out of the sun. And a rec room, that can be rented for special occasions. During the winter, people go cross country skiing on the grounds.

We stopped twice at this 500+ acre park to do some birdwatching and were impressed with the options available. There were two pools, possibly used for ice skating in the winter; cross country ski options; nice picnic and playground facilities; a small brook; equestrian facilities; hiking and mountain biking; and even disc golf. It was a nice respite from traveling and we enjoyed our stay there. This is a town park, well kept up with bathroom facilities and other buildings that probably house staff during the busy months.
The sign said for use by town residents and guests but we entered anyway seeing as there was no one else there and we were on an eagle chase. If it was staffed, I'd go in and get an out of town pass, I'd be surprised if they didn't allow you in.
