It depends on the weather, and what you are going for. On the luncheon cruise we saw people dressing up a bit but with the fireworks cruise, people were in jeans, shorts and t-shirts. I had to bring a fleecy, as on the water it can be cooler, and at night when the sun goes down, it was bit drafty on the water, though it was still humid on land.

I’m not sure but I didn’t see any dogs.

You can check their schedule on line. It lets you know how many seats are left. I bought the tickets about a week in advance. We were there for Labor Day weekend and it was crowded, but I don't think they were sold out. The weather was perfect the day we went and it's a really nice way to see the lake and have lunch.

We do sail rain or shine. Like SharkByte said....you can purchase for sightseeing just before the cruise. For meal cruises it is wise to make a reservation.

We sail early May through late October.
