O M G. My daughter go married there last month. We never anticipated how unbelievable it would be. We hope for the best but let me tell you it was just amazing. From the time we entered the venue till leaving , everything was perfect. Rocco was our go to guy. Sensational. Went above and beyond what we could have imagined. I can’t say enough about him and how special he made us feel and of course my daughter the Bride!,,,,,, Everything was perfect. Her bridal attendant was the best one can ask for. She was in on everything making all the women feel relaxed, what ever we needed she went and did. The other shout out goes to the woman who greets you when u come into the venue. Sorry I forgot her name. Always a smile on her face and was always making sure we were good! Also the waitress who followed my husband was awesome. Getting him what he needed so he did not have to wait on line. If you are looking for a top notch venue this is the place for you. I can’t say enough great things. It was just PERFECT

Beautiful venue good food very helpful young staff
But there are stairs and have to ask the staff for the hidden ramp. Was told by phone mobility would not be an issue. It is.

Glen Island Park is worth a trip to get there. For those of us who live in New Rochelle, if you don't take advantage you are missing out on something really special. It's a fabulous place to walk or run, with gorgeous views in every direction. You can just sit on a bench and enjoy the fresh air and people watch, or bring your kids to ride bikes, play at the playground, etc. There are fascinating markers throughout the park not only about the flora and fauna, but also about the glamorous past of Glen Island Casino.
In season you need a park pass, but if you don't have one it's simple to park nearby and walk in. Off season there's plenty of parking at the center of the facility.
Early morning you can even watch local rowing crews at practice and sailboats out on the Sound. There have been periods when I walked there every morning, and periods when I just go from time to time. Either way, I always feel grateful as I walk over that bridge and practically spin in a 360 circle, with that first smack of being surrounded by such beauty!

I really enjoy visiting Glend Island Park all year round. It gets busy during summer but the rest of the year is good. The kids like it. They can run, ride a bicycle, etc... Good spots for picnic and relax on the beach.

Glen Island is the perfect place to enjoy the beach, take e a stroll, enjoy a snack, or watch the boats sailing. No matter when you visit winter, spring, summer, or fall Glen Island delivers.

Pelham bay, orchard park beach is very fun. We went their 2 times this trip, once in 2012. We love it there.

Attended a family wedding at this venue. The water views are magnificent. The reception held at the Club was "over-the-top" with excellent food and white glove service. The only negative was the DJ who felt he needed to scream into the mike to be heard.

Great place to go running with your self or go running after a toddler. Several play areas with slides and good open spaces

Greatly upkept, security and views are the best bring own drinks and snacks very hard to find the ONE vendor open, beautiful sailing done around island/park.

They have charcoal barbecue stations but saw a few small propane containers there. Propably need a westchester pass to enter during summer months.

The park is free. There is a charge for parking but I usually park on the street and then walk to the park.

they did not check our I.D. any time we were at the park so I don't think you will have a problem. Contact them directly.
