I was offered a very personalised service and the highlights are just too many! Brilliant blue safari, a sunset boat trip that was just pure vibes and all the while feeling like I was on a personal photo-shoot! Very friendly service provider. They came highly recommended and I wasn’t disappointed!

My partner Jen initially booked the luxury package with Bryan, and it was unnerving to send across money and hope it would be ok.
Bryan, owner of Mashirima Tours was communicative and booked exactly the accomodation and we had the Safari Tour in the Serengeti Plains that we expected.
We were picked up at the airport at night, dropped at our hotel and picked up again the next morning. Shout out to our driver Yona who was also friendly, knowledgeable and a safe driver. Driving on African roads needs to be seen to be believed sometimes!
Personally, I loved the culture shock of Africa and the amazing Tanzanian people. On our tour, we met some of the Maasai tribe, who are incredibly humble, accomodating to foreigners, and show you how they live.
We had 3 days split across the stunningly beautiful Serengeti Plains and the equally amazing views across the Ngorongoro crater. Some highlights included a fully grown Giraffe running alongside our Toyota Landcruiser, a morning spent eating breakfast as a herd of wild Elephants calmly walked past our parked up jeep, 4 young lions breaking cover too early to eat a daft Wildebeest, less than 20ft from the jeep, and many, many others - hyenas, Hippos, Giraffes, Elephants, Thomson’s Gazelle, Ostrich, and we even caught sight of a fully grown male Lion stretching his legs in the Ngorongoro crater as another tour guide was replacing a tyre nearby! (Not too close)
Bryan is a passionate and knowledgeable guide who also helps the local community, we were able to pass on some of our hotel breakfast boxes to local kids for example.
I cannot recommend visiting Tanzania enough, if you are ever lucky enough to go. It’s worth the time spent in a metal tube with wings to get there. While I believe Scotland to be the most Beautiful country in the world, I don’t think I realised Tanzania is up there too, until I spent time there. Particularly the Serengeti Plains, but the whole country and the people.
So if you go, contact Bryan and see if he can accomodate your tour requirements. If he continues to treat clients with the honesty and passion he showed in our tour, I think he will go far.

We highly recommend Mashirima Tours. Brian, the owner is very friendly and is a good communicator, knowledgeable, and reliable. He always arrived earlier than the time we had set for pickup and he hires very safe drivers. Our time in Zanzibar was a highlight of our trip to Tanzania, thanks to Brian.

My Family Paid 4830$, to visit Serengeti-Manyara-Stonetown-Kendwa, only to be accompanied with a Tour Guide that wasn’t paid, Later to sleep in a Camp we never signed up for that was below standard and also when in Zanzibar Brian the owner booked two rooms instead of 3 rooms, and asked us to pay for the 3rd room where as he claimed he will refund the money and that we should pay again on his behalf. He hasn’t paid to date even after constantly following up from him since last year, and calling him out on social media, we have now decided to report him to the Authorities where his Tours License will bei revoked soon.

Amazing experience in Tanzania with Mashirima Tours!! Brian (owner of Mashirima Tours) proved to be very reliable, hospitable, knowledgeable, and honest host/guide. Before we flew to Africa, we had to secure our tour by wiring money to Brian. It was a little unnerving to send a large amount of money to an unknown person, but Brian responded and communicated at every turn of the planning and booking process. Therefore, we had the assurance this was a legitimate company. Our tour began with Brian picking us up at the airport in the evening with our driver, Tom, in an 8 passenger safari Land cruiser. Very comfortable and spacious for our group of 6. We had a 5 day Safari tour, then an added a Kilimanjaro day hike plus local hot spring day before our evening flight out. The first evening was travel time of hours to a hotel with a full dinner meal provided near the Ngorogoro Crater. The next morning was a full day at the Crater that did not disappoint. The scenery was breathtaking, and we saw several animal species with the highlight of many rhinoceros. The end of the day we drove hours to reach the middle of the Serengeti for an overnight in what I would rate a 5 star tent hotel accommodation. We had very private, spacious tents with plumbed toilet and shower, desk, chairs, and a cozy four-poster bed. The staff was very accommodating and the meals were hearty and delicious. I wish we could have stayed in this accommodation a second night if our Serengeti tour was longer. Well worth it. The Serengeti was vast and breathtaking in it’s golden beauty. Tom was an experienced and personable driver that knew how to find about every animal there is to see! We saw the Big 5 plus 3 cheetahs! Also, migration of wildebeest and zebras crossing right in front of us with the herds as far as the eye could see. Tom always maneuvered the SUV to be up close to the animals for great viewing and photos. We booked with a different guide outside of this tour company for our Kilimanjaro hike, and thought we would be ending our time with Brian, but he was able to work with the other guide in order to drive us to our last 2 days of locations and arrange more accommodations. This was unexpected and proved the impeccable and trust-worthy service Brian provided. He also arranged all of the Covid testing before our departing flights. The tour ended with being driven to the airport and saying our goodbyes. This tour was far beyond our expectations. You will have an adventure of a lifetime with Mashirima Tours!

I HIGHLY recommend Mashirima Tours. Brian was our contact person from start to finish. Quick responses over WhatsApp were great. Tom was our driver. Both were just awesome. 6 people from US for 5 day tour included safari to Serengeti (legendary) and Ngorongoro crater (unbelievably beautiful!). Also did day hike up to Mandara Hut and back (lower Kilimanjaro). Tour guide and driver will take great care of you from arrival here to departure. Paying for the tour by wiring money takes some faith, but that’s the way it’s done here. It doesn’t take long to realize this is a really trustworthy tour operator. Think flexible. You will get everything you pay for and it will be worth it! Depending on the itinerary, the weather, and your arrival time, the exact details may not get solidified until you get there. When you trust your tour operator/guide, whatever comes up will be just fine. I wouldn’t think of using anyone else when I come back. Highest recommendation.

We had a phenomenal trip with Mashirima Tours! Brian and Michael taught us so much about the culture in Zanzibar. We got to experience the beauty of the spice farm, cheetah rock and some phenomenal authentic Tanzanian foods. 10/10 would recommend. I cannot wait to book my next trip with them.

My favorite part of the whole experience was the way everything was arranged perfectly from the beginning of the trip to the end, Mashirima tours is the best, I had so much fun and for a beautiful adventure this company is for you.
