Was here for a catered event but we had a tour of the production facilty, learned some fascinating things about making the specialty cheeses. Good selection of local foodstuffs and crafts as well as their excellent cheeses.

Enjoyed some free samples, esp the Silver Lake Cheese and the place has a nice variety of items like jams and candy. They do tours and that might have made this a more exiting experience. They also have an area upstairs for parties.
Overall, it was a quick visit and enjoyed the cheese.

East Hill Creamery is a beautiful way to do some sightseeing, shopping, or researching private events in Perry, NY. First, pick up some fresh cheese and snacks to bring them home or stop at a park to enjoy the day! Next, the upstairs area is perfect for a private event like showers, weddings, retirements, graduations. It's a stunning space! We looked around upstairs. It was decorated for the holiday season. Lastly, for all ages is perfect for a field trip. Check out the the cheese factory, learn about making cheese, and the final step -eat cheese! The kids can run around in the grassy area to work up their appetite or burn off their energy before packing them up in the car for the next stop.

The proprietor greeted me and offered samples. The first one was so good I didn't try any more; traveling from out of state I didn't have a way to keep more than one chunk and I knew if I tried more I would want more. I had a short, yet delightful visit.

The cheese is amazing and tastes great, The butter was insanely good, especially for baking. This is what butter is supposed to taste like.
Lastly get the curd chips. They are amazing. Served them over my cheeseburger grilled over the fire.

We were driving to Letchworth State Park and happened to drive by this creamery. We decided to stop and try their cheese. Oh my gosh! Was it delicious. We fell in love with the Silver Lake Cheese. They also had another cheese( I cannot remember the name) that had a fruity aftertaste that we also liked. The cheese was so good that we ordered the grilled cheese sandwiches made with the cheese and a phenomenal homemade garlic ring bologna made by Wilson Beef Farms. This bologna tasted closer to salami. We finished the lunch with Amanda’s fresh out of the oven chocolate chip cookies. I will be dreaming about her cookies tonight.
The cheese cave made for interesting viewing while waiting for our lunch to be served.
I would give this creamery an A+ rating and highly recommend trying their fresh cheese from their dairy cows.

There was nothing special about this cheese factory. Was not a guided tour. Just look thru a window at what is going on. The cheese was pretty good though.

Gary and Betty Burley own and run East Hill Creamery, a combination of cheese making extraordinaire and a shop where you can not only buy their excellent cheese, but many wonderful locally made products as well. The tour of the facility is fascinating as the cheese making process is explained. The cheese "Cave" is especially cool. The best part though is the cheese! I always fancied myself a cheese lover but after tasting this cheese I realized what I have been missing. They also have a huge, beautiful facility available for events (weddings, conferences, etc.) called "The Chalet". Well worth a visit.

Gary and Betty give a great tour of the facility, starts in the cute cheese shop downstairs and moves to the stunning event space upstairs where there are great views of the cheese caves and a cheese tasting! Great family story of humble beginnings in dairy farming and moving to the cheese-making world. Would recommend to anyone who loves great cheese and is interested in the cheese-making!
