This park is really nice, Unpacked for us were the tower and the treetop path.
You should definitely go here.
For small children, the playground is a paradise.
A bit disappointing we found the maze, too many holes in the corridors, so it was no challenge to find the middle.

We spent 3 nights in a tree house and were a bit disappointed overall. Unfortunately, the park doesn't have much to offer: apart from the good playground, there isn't much to discover. The "chill zones" are just meadows with logs, the tubes are just 3 tubes through hills and the maze is also quite small and quick to get through.
In addition, the food was really very poor. Hardly any choice, mostly nothing for the children (lamb goulash, sauerbrauten, etc.). I would guess that mainly families with children stay there, so chips / nuggets / pasta should always be an option. The short meal times were usually already exhausted after 30 minutes, so you had to eat very punctually to avoid getting the leftovers.
Admittedly, the tower and the forest path are really nice, but not exciting enough to visit multiple times. Since the weather was only moderate, we had to look for something to do further afield.
The tree houses for overnight stays were also fine, although very small and uncomfortable. It's practically impossible to sit comfortably on the stools when it's raining.
It's a shame, I had actually hoped for more from the park.

Photos of the winter lights campaign prompted us to take a trip to Panarbora.
You can see the observation tower, the park's main attraction, from afar. Dusk was falling and the first lights were already on. Unfortunately, the first ones were no longer on. The imposing tower is sparsely decorated with a string of icicle lights at the bottom and one on the upper ring. Inside, 5 light tubes hang unimaginatively and do not give much light. During the path all the way up to the observation platform, it got dark. When you get to the top, you are met with complete darkness. In the middle of the platform there is a tree stump with information boards. Unfortunately, you cannot read what is written on it because it is pitch black. The only thing that lights up now and then is a small red light that has been installed for night-time air traffic. But that is not much to be happy about.
Fortunately, there is a little more light around the entrance area of the park. Around 30 colorful lights illuminate trees in a quarter of the surrounding area in different colors. It looks impressive in photos. In reality, it is soberingly small. There is still a lot of room for improvement.
On the way back, we also took the treetop path. However, apart from being illuminated by a small LED strip that is interrupted every now and then, it is also very dark. A lot more could be done here too, especially since the entrance fee of €10.90 is not exactly cheap.
Going up, taking photos, going down the treetop path and back down again takes less than an hour. There is no evening rate. It's a shame. I can't judge the food in the restaurant; according to previous reviews, it is not so good.
Overall, I think that if you don't just come here for the winter lights and have the whole day at your disposal, you can experience a lot here, especially with small children.

The park should convey a love of nature and a reverence for life. Unfortunately, the clumsy, obtrusive Halloween decorations don't fit in with that. What kind of person do you have to be to exhibit stuffed pheasants and headless chickens, splattered with fake blood for a cheap scary effect, and thereby degrade them beyond death? Stupid, tasteless and disgusting! Even if the park management probably entrusted some subordinate employee with this task, they are ultimately responsible for it.

A great trip for the family. In the park, the Chief Ranger took the time to show us intuitive archery 🎯. All the staff were very friendly. The family annual pass is worth it...👍

Der Park ist sehr schön gemacht. Was das Restaurant angeht, habe ich noch nie eine so schlechte Currywurst gegessen. Phosphatsauce und Wurst. Wirklich schlecht.

Wir waren bei wunderbar sonnigem Herbstwetter im Panarbora Waldbröl. Die Aussicht von Turm war einfach fantastisch, man kann u.a. bis Köln und zum Siebengebirge sehen. Eignet sich gut für einen Ausflug und ein echtes Highlight für Waldbröl. Auch der Baumwipfelpfad ist sehr schön und interessant. Zur angeschlossenen Jugendherberge können wir nichts sagen, da wir diese nicht genutzt haben. Verkehrsanbindung ist sehr gut und es sind auch viele Parkplätze vorhanden (kostenlose und kostenpflichtige). Toiletten waren sauber und Gastronomie ist vorhanden.

Gefallen hat uns die Lage der Jugendherberge, sowie der Naturpark rundherum. Die Zimmer sind gut aufgeteilt und liebevoll gestaltet. Negativ aufgefallen ist uns, dass wir bei Anreise zunächst einmal „Silberfische“ aus den Betten entfernen mussten. Das war mehr als unangenehm nicht akzeptabel.
Ein weiterer negativer Aspekt war das Essen. Obwohl wir pünktlich zum Abendessen da waren (Essenszeit 18-19:00 Uhr; Ankunft im Speiseraum 18:20) gab es nicht mehr für alle eingetroffenen Mitglieder unserer Gruppe Essen. Das Personal hat sich dann zwar bemüht, schnell eine Lösung zu finden, jedoch war das auch eher mangelhaft. Das zubereitete asiatische Nudelgericht war zum Teil angebrannt und schmeckte widerlich. Auch das Sprachverständnis war offensichtlich ein Problem. Beim Mittagessen musste der Wunsch nach Pommes mit Nuggets mehrfach wiederholt werden, bevor der Mitarbeiter diesem Wunsch nachkam. Das Frühstück war in Ordnung. Die Getränkepreise sind m.E. für eine Jugendherberge unangemessen teuer. Für 2 Getränke und 3 Waffeln habe ich am Ende knapp 20 Euro bezahlt. Das kann man sich nicht häufig leisten. Insgesamt kann ich nur ein befriedigend erteilen. Schade, wir hatten uns viel mehr versprochen und sind etwas enttäuscht vom Gesamtaufsatz. PANARBORA-Sommerfest: Am letzten Samstag besuchten wir mit 2 Enkelkindern das Sommerfest. Die Jungs (12,13 Jahre alt) wollten natürlich das Bogenschiessen ausprobieren. Also meldeten wir uns um ca 11.45 Uhr an, bezahlten und sollten um 14:00 Uhr wieder am >Treffpunkt sein. Die Zwischenzeit nutzten wir für viele, schöne Wettbewerbsaktivitäten - alle sehr liebevoll arrangiert! Um 14: 00 Uhr waren wir die ersten am Treffpunkt. KEINE Person des Anbieters TRANZPARENZ GmbH weit und breit zu sehen. Also wartetten wir. Nachund nach kamen weitere Eltern mit ihren Sprösslingen zum Treffpunkt. Dann entdeckte eine Mutter einen kleinen Zettel: Anfang erst um 14:30 Uhr. Weiter warten (in praller Sonne). Dann kam eine Panarbora-Mitarbeiterin und telefonierte mit dem Anbieter: die hätten vorher beim Baumklettern länger gemacht und deshalb machten sie nun eine längere Mittagspause :-( Also weiter warten! Um 14:45 kam dann endlich ein MA der Firma TRANSPARENZ und zog sich erstmal unseren Unmut und antwortete: Ihr wollt Spass und wir wollen Spass - sollen wir jetzt weitere Zeit dit diskutieren vertun? Dann Führung durch die Panarbora-Mitarbeiterin zum Bogenschiess-Platz, wo wir dann endlich um 15:00 Uhr beginnen konnten! Die Einstellung und Organisation des Partners TRANZPARENT NRW GmbH war nicht nur grottenschlecht, sondern verhinderte durch ihre Arroganz ja auch während der 3/4 Stunde Warterei der Teilnehmer deren Teilnahme an anderen Eventpunkten! Äußerst unfair gegenüber den weiteren Eventanbietern! TRANZPARENZ NRW GmbH bitte in Zukunnft bei solchen Festen ausschliessen, DANKE!

Warum sind Hunde dort verboten, an kurzer Leine dürfte es doch unproblematisch sein. Ich war schon am Eder See auf einem Baumwipfelpfad und da war es kein Problem.

im Restaurant gab es WLAN ob es auch aßerhalb Empfang gibt, habe ich nicht probiert.
