This theater is well known in the area, and well loved. It is beautiful inside, and is also a good venue. i have seen ballet here and really enjoyed it. I feel fancy just being there.

Came here to see “Pretty Woman” firstly I would like to say this is probably one of the best theatres I have been to !! The architecture was simply stunning however the night was completely ruined by inconsiderate! Ignorant ! Rude theatre goers who have no idea what theatre etiquette is !!! People up and down all through the production to go to the bar !! This is not only total un acceptable but it is also very off putting for the actors on stage !!! I feel as though the theatre staff should adapt the attitude of other theatres around the globe !! If people leave the auditorium mid scene they should be made to wait till the intermission to re enter !!
Great production ruined by absolute neandrathals !!! At when its cost $180 a ticket it’s not funny !!!

What a place. A real gem, beautifully restored. Near a number of nice restaurants, right downtown Syracuse. Would definitely return.

The theater is beautiful inside. We sat in the balcony, it is hard to understand the words, I suppose this would be much better with a close seat but that is usually not realistic. There is very little leg room, I had to sit a little sideways and I am only 5 foot 10. The production was absolutely wonderful. We went for a Saturday matinee, in my opinion you have to pay for parking but there are plenty of surface lots and garages within close walking distance, we parked at a surface lot 3 blocks away. It was not bad traffic leaving after the show. We would certainly see more shows at the Landmark Theater.

A throwback to the golden age of theater!! The Landmark is that and more for the theater community of Syracuse. Just entering the lobby transports you back in time and invites you into an extraordinary theater experience.

Very nice 1920's theater which has not been updated, but has been maintained. Easy to park on street (after 6:00 PM free on weekdays) if you arrive early.

The food is good but you needs to make a time, one can't walk in. The food is good and the theater has all the best movies. You can eat and not go to movie if you like

Broadway production of My Fair Lady. Sat in balcony and had a hard time hearing and understanding ding much of the dialogue. Cast had excellent voices and scenes were very unique and well dine.

Excellent venue. Such charm and character and the sound system was excellent. This is a classic old theater that is getting some renovations. I highky recommend seeing a show or concert there.

Unfortunately, even with a limited selection and long lines at the bar, the drinks will flow! Expect to have your viewing obstructed constantly by people walking in front of you to replenish their drinks. You expect that at a rock concert, not at a Broadway play. Theatre manners are sorely lacking by theatre goers at the Landmark.

I also have a disability so let me share my viewpoint with you. Your best bet is to sit on the first floor within the first 10 rows of the orchestra section. Center section is best. If you can get seats on the inside aisle of the side sections, you will have a better view of the action than if you sit in the center of the side sections or near the walls. If you choose to sit in the balcony, bring good binoculars and wait for most of the audience to exit after the show.
The Landmark is an 80 year old venue and has been restored to its original ornate beauty. It seats 2900 and there's usually a full house. Sitting in the front of the first floor audience seating will also give you a quick access to the side door exits, avoiding having to plow through masses of people exiting through the main doors in the front of the building. Have fun and do enjoy the splendor of the 1927 era (and the show!)
