What a must see place. The weather was great on the day we visited and it was like being in the Bahamas. Cafe and toilets on site. You have to walk there from the boat but it is worth it. Highlight of our week in Guernsey

On the far side of Herm… near tropical on a sunny day… blue clear waters, ideal for bathing and water sports.

Views are spectacular for the Channel Islands. Beaches are decent. Flies are prevalent but not massively annoying
What was more frustrating was that a cafe serving chips with everything, allowed spoilt customers to reserve two tables and turned up 50 mins late.... at lunchtime. Many including ourselves could not use a table, where food wasn't cheap (everything has to come in by boat)
After otherwise very pleasant holiday with decent people on Guernsey, it was sad to feel back and home and see such selfishness from other tourists.
Head down to the Belvoir beach for a better experience.

Superb beach and really something special. The beach was very clean and the cafe on the beech was very good, although the sheer amount of wasps were annoying. Will be coming back though!

Really fabulous beach with a good beach cafe serving lovely food. Clean white shell sand that seems to go on forever. Lovely, safe beach with warmer pools when the sea goes out. Not to be missed

Stopped for lunch here on my coastal walk around Herm. I had been expecting an abundance of shells and was a little underwhelmed. However, it was an amazing beach/bay had good food kiosk and good toilets.

Lovely views. I really enjoyed the ferry, late afternoon trip so it was pretty quiet. Forgot my jacket so it got a bit chilly.

Get the boat to Herm! What great walks and not too strenuous. Views are worth the visit alone. Nice church on top of the island . Lots of local history here and just take time to enjoy the traffic free quietness.

Amazing,clean,near deserted sands on a near deserted Island,backed by a small cafe and "loos",a piece of Heaven on Earth.
Gentle,lapping waters at the edge of a shelving beach,no litter,no seaweed,no stones,nearest you'll get to a deserted Caribbean Islands beach in this part of the World.......Spectacular!

Can someone who knows this location check the map and update it if necessary?
The map now places this beach near Llanbedr, Gwynedd, UK (Wales) rather than on the channel island where I believe this is actually located.

We are going to be on a cruise ship which visits St. Peter Port on Saturday, June 27, from 7 am to 3 pm. Do the ferries go to Herm frequently? Will we be able to spend enough time there to make it worthwhile? We're never sure how long it takes us to get off the ship in the morning but we definitely don't want to miss being on it at 3 pm!

Thanks for your response - although a bit late. We did go to Herm that day and had a wonderful time walking all over the island. Didn't get to spend beach time but, hopefully, will go back some day.
