Nothing much unless you’re into fishing!

We drove to the boat ramp and picnic area at the northern end of the reservoir, nothing was very impressive. There are picnic tables and wood BBQ’s, toilets and a boat ramp, but it is very dry and uninviting on a hot summer day. I understand fishing is good from the banks or in a boat, but no petrol engines are permitted on the water so bring your oars or an electric motor. I don’t think I would be tempted to picnic there, but it certainly is possible with the basic facilities provided.
