Very good hotel for value. Very clean room. Comfortable bed. Bit small basin but considering the comfort of the bed, can over look it. Staffs very friendly. If anyone plans to visit Perth I think staying in Tribe is worthwhile. Oh, forgot to say that you have to fork out $25 per night for parking but still worthwhile.

This likeable shopfront enterprise is a testament to the creativity of people in the Castlemaine area. It sells items made by local (and Melbourne) makers and craftspeople. So if you are a visitor to the town it's worth checking in Tribe for an unusual and possibly quaint gift. My eye was caught by knitwear for young children and toys. For locals there are workshops (e.g. felted toys, basketry), and Tribe also seems to promote networking among local creatives.

This little shop is real special.
A gem...I'm so happy to have found it.
I bought some gorgeous little gifts for my children and I love that most of it is handmade locally.

Group of Artisans combined together to sell their crafts in this delightful shop run by the lovely Ange (0403800714) Whether you are looking for something special for a child, adult or just a lovely 'gift' for your self, you will certainly find something in this lovely shop. So much to choose from you need to spend some time browsing before buying!!!
