愉悦的一日游。我们早上9点半就到了，有足够的时间买去企鹅岛和海狮游船的票。每一块钱都花的很值。那里有非常友善的员工和志愿者导游。横跨浅水海洋公园的景色是非常壮丽的。在乘船旅行时，我们很高兴看到两只海豚、一些海狮和许多鹈鹕生活在它们的自然环境中。企鹅岛保护区非常有趣。只要你喜欢，你可以一直在这里看企鹅，并且在岛上散步很惬意。岛上的木板路有助于保护自然环境。美好的一日游。

It sounds like you went on our Wildlife Cruise where you venture out on the water for 60 minutes looking for wildlife around Bird Island and Seal Island before embarking on Penguin Island for a 30 minute guided walk. The Wild Penguins are very vulnerable this time of year with all the Sea Eagles, Whistling kites and Osprey's around the area which you might have seen on the tour would eat them if they could be seen so the Penguins are nesting in the man made nesting boxes or in there burrows this time of year (which you also would have seen on this tour). Some may also be out fishing for there partner and chicks during the day and dont come back to the mainland until an hour after sunset to ensure there own safety. We do have ten Penguins in the Discovery Centre but they are not part of this Wildlife Tour as Department of Biodiversity, Conversations and Attractions open the Discovery Centre from 15th of September through to the beginning of June where you can watch them being fed and go to the Island at your own leisure. Ferries run every hour and there is no guide. I hope this helps explain how we are different to Phillip Island.

这趟旅行可以在冬天进行，体验感真是太棒了……我们乘船经过浅水群岛海洋公园到达了几个岛屿。我们看到了海豚捕食，成堆的鸟和海狮。船长非常好——对船只两边的风景都给予了我们很多观赏时间。然后我们去了企鹅岛，在那里我们爬到了顶上（实际上步行路程很短！），可以看到沿海的全部景色。我们的导游非常高兴地为我们拍了很多照片。我们没有看到企鹅，但这真的并不重要——旅途非常愉快。

在岛屿漫步非常地让人放松，在乘坐短途渡轮前往企鹅岛前可以在渡轮咖啡馆来杯咖啡和松饼开启这段旅程。沿着木板路漫步的时候我们经过了正在筑巢的海鸥，还有鹈鹕从我们头顶飞向他们的筑巢地点。非常棒的观景点和沙滩，还有三文鱼在浅滩游泳。在重新回到木板路继续出发前往野餐区域前，你可以脱下鞋子沿着海滩蹚水，非常愉快。把这令人难忘的几个小时带到高潮的是在前往野餐区的海滩附近看到一只海狮在晒太阳。在Perth地区的话肯定会再来的。

我们很喜欢去企鹅岛。如果带着孩子的话，那么你肯定得带上食物。虽然我们在登记入内的手续上出了点问题，但好在工作人员很棒，给我们提供了很大的帮助。给你自己准备30分钟的时间去登记入内，而且在上渡船之前让大家先去使用当地的咖啡店的洗手间。记得带上水下呼吸管还有毛巾。

We are glad you enjoyed your day over on Penguin Island!
Unfortunately spotting a wild little penguin during the day is not very likely as they do head out on fishing trips, leaving before the sunrises and not returning until the sunsets or hide away in their burrows. This is to ensure they stay hidden from predatory birds such as osprey and sea eagles. The best way to see the little penguins is in the Discovery Centre on the island, this is where the rescued penguins live who are no longer deemed fit to return to the wild. I will also pass on your feedback about the conditions of the toilets.

Thank you for taking the time to write this review.
It sounds like you where lucky enough to see a lot of the bird life that Shoalwater Bay has to offer, including our 10 rescued Penguins in the Discovery Centre. These Penguins are deemed unfit to be released back into the wild as
they are injured or orphaned from birth. The natural behaviour for the wild Penguins on the Island is to hunt at sea or hide in their burrows from predators.
That's fantastic you saw a lot of Dolphins and Sea Lions! We hope to see you again soon!

Thank you for your question.
The 1st and 2nd of August are showing as fully booked as these dates are not available.
Penguin Island is CLOSED to the general public for 3 months every year for June, July and August.
We definitely do not recommend walking to Penguin Island as it is very dangerous and as mention the Island is closed and no access by the general public is allowed on Penguin Island at the moment.
We offer a Penguin island wildlife Cruise which is our 'winter cruise' only available in the winter months which is a 90 minute experience including a 60 minute glass bottom boat cruise and a 30 minute guided walk on Penguin Island.
We have limited access granted by Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions DBCA and limited time on the island to minimise all disturbance but time to take in the spectacular views from the lookout - bird nesting dependent.
This tour has been cancelled for the month of July due to renovations and will recommence on the 3rd of August at this stage however we are watching the weather closely.
Please check our website for updates.
Penguin Island will reopen and all ferry and cruises operating as normal from the 15th of September. (Swim with Wild Dolphins tour from the 1st of Septmeber)

Unfortunately the 13th is unavailable due to our gift shop being closed over the month of July for renovations that is why it is showing up as fully booked.
The Wildlife Cruise will commence again in August.

We have a Swim with Wild Dolphins tour where we can have spectators onboard with the swimmers or our Adventure cruise which is where you see Dolphins, Penguins and Sea Lions but no swim is involved. These are two separate cruises. Our Dolphin Swim Tour leaves from Val St Jetty and is a full day tour including lunch. The Adventure cruise leaves from Shoalwater jetty and includes Penguin Isld and Seal Isld.Please call us on (08) 95911333 and we can answer any other questions to help you decide which tour would suit you all best!
