Need new seats, so many broken ones. Very run down theater. Popcorn was NOT fresh, employees seem bored but uninterested in helping customers.

I usually try not to leave negative reviews, but my streak has ended. My boyfriend and I walked into this theater tonight for a 9:30 showing, and we were immediately disgusted by our surroundings, even before we got to our screen. The place was NOT packed, no terrible lines, not busy at all, but it was absolutely FILTHY. A lake of juice on the floor by the vending machines, trash and popcorn littered everywhere, and not one custodian in sight cleaning anything. We got to our theater (without ANYONE checking our tickets. We could’ve walked in to ANY movie) and the trash cans were not emptied but overflowing. This was 10 MINUTES before our movie. The theater itself was also not cleaned out yet and completely trashed. The air was musty and the seats, well, Let’s just say we took one look and walked out.
I understand it’s a busy Sunday night of an opening weekend of two major blockbusters, but where we all the other employees besides the concession stand workers? Does no one care about their work environment anymore? Is this theater managed by a teenager? I will no longer set foot in this theater.

the theater is old and usually waay too cold. I like cold but this is too cold. Seats don't recline but one has to reserve a seat anyway. It's not great for an optimum movies experience

We went here on a Tuesday afternoon. There were very few people in the theater, so you would think we could buy tickets quickly and get to our seats promptly. You'd be wrong. In spite of the fact that there were maybe 15 people on the ticket line, it took over 15 minutes to buy our tickets. The automated ticket machines were out of order and the two people handling the ticket sales were veeeerrrrry slowwwwwwwww. The theater itself is dated, the bathrooms are badly in need of an overhaul and, although the seats are comfortable, they are not nearly as good as recliners in the newer theaters. This theater is in need of an overhaul, both for the lobby and ticketing areas and in the theaters themselves.

I’m at this theatre nearly every week. It’s not as updated as the others in the area, it still has regular theatre seats, but it’s clean and comfortable. Loads of parking and the staff is friendly and pleasant. I like that they often play ‘smaller’ movies that you can’t find in other theatres. I’m a Stubs member and like that I accumulate points that earn me $5 credits or free or discounted food or drink. Tuesdays all shows are $6. The rest of the week any show before noon is also supposed to be $6, but lately they haven’t been scheduling any shows before noon; that bit of sneakiness is why I only gave them 4 stars.

I they have a great food bar and soda machines, for what its worth I love it, and you can refill if you want

I recently went to the AMC theater to see a movie. The movie Green Book was great. The seats are very uncomfortable and in need of major repair. There are 2 theaters nearby with reclining seats. I will not go back to this AMC until it is repaired.

OK, so the theater is on the old-fashioned side and desperately needs a facelift. It's completely opposite from its next door neighbor at Roosevelt Field. I'll concede to those facts. But you're not there for glamor and state of the art. You're there to see a movie, and you can do this peacefully and comfortable enough at the AMC Raceway Theater. Schedules are convenient, selected movies are the latest, and prices are good. I especially like Tuesdays where you can see a showing for $5 with the theater's free loyalty card.

First of all, this theater still has old seats.
No upgrades here.
Upon entering the theater itself, a very disturbing odor emanated which I compared to a subway urinal. Either the back of the theater is used as a rest room, or the same cleaning tools are being used for restrooms and theater.
It was probably our last visit to this location.
Shame on you AMC.

Hi, what would you like to know about this attraction?
That picture you have is NOT from the Roosevelt Raceway theater. Those seats look like the Levittown AMC. Maybe think about adjusting or altering your review. Thanks.

I don’t need to alter or adjust my review; as a near-weekly patron of this theatre, I know it very well, thank you. I didn’t post any pictures, but if you’re referring to the slide show TRIP ADVISOR has at the theatres page, you’re correct that the seats are not the ones in the theatre. If you actually read my review, I mentioned the fact that the theatre hasn’t updated and still has the old seats.
