This place has all the makings a of great venue but it was all tarnished by the most important thing....good sound. I saw As I Lay Dying last night, I could tell the band was killing it because I knew the songs but I could not hear the guitars or vocals clearly....mostly the guitars though. The majority of the sound was a drowning amount of bass drum. The engineer did very little to correct the levels, maybe he was limited with the equipment that was at his disposal or lack there of. It definitely put a damper on the show.

Very cool space, yet the event I went to was a snore.
My wife saw Patti Smith here years ago and I wish I was there - she went with a friend. It looks like a great concert venue although the upcoming shows are not to my tastes.

Great Venue for concerts and other shows. ! Not a bad seat in the house. Love this place!!! My family and I come hear approx; 8-10-12 times a year. They book all styles of events and I am glad to live locally but if I didn't this would be a place worth traveling to.

Recently attended a concert at The Space in Westbury and they did a nice job renovating the theater. The only issue is there is a no parking lot and parking can be a problem if the venue is sold out. We decided to eat dinner locally before the event and got a reasonably close parking spot on the street. So, if you plan on attending an event at the Space in Westbury, go early, have dinner nearby and get a great parking spot close to the theater.

Went to see Pat Metheny a few days ago and he was great. The Venue is a good place to see a show. The sound is good, the staff is easy to work with and I like the E tickets they issue.
The only downfall is the size of the bar in the concert hall. Sometimes there can be too much noise coming from it.
All in all, I like this place and will go back.

With both the large hall and a smaller, more intimate stage, this venue offers the flexibility to frame an evening to your mood!

Very nice intimate venue. We came here tonight for the first time to see Jackson Galaxy and had seats in the loge with a great view to the stage. The theater is so small that I think next time I'll save some money and get seats in the balcony. We arrived at hour early for the 8pm show and easily found street parking (free after 6pm) a block away from the theater. If you have time to kill before a show, go to Nana's Ice Cream & Coffee House down there street for a quick bite, delicious bubble tea and smoothies.

I really loved this place in all respects. It is beautifully renovated and restored. The sound is excellent. There are numerous clean, large, and ultra modern bathrooms, which is unusual for many venues. There are many restaurants nearby and within walking distance. There is lots of free parking nearby. The venue is also a short walk from the LIRR station. Some shows have a general admission standing room floor and others have a reserved seating floor, so you should check what the arrangement is for your show. There is a loge and a balcony with seating, but those sections are behind the orchestra (as opposed to over it) and are not really raised up. Overall just an amazing place to see a show.

We attend charity benefits for the Long Island rock & roll hall of fame here.
The venue has strange acoustics and the sound often is muffled. Good viewing from most seats.

Been to a few concerts here. Plenty of street parking within a few blocks of the venue.
The only thing to be careful here is to know if the floor seats are general admission or if there are seats. Different for each concert.
Otherwise, a good venue. Sound is great. Sightlines are very good.

Anywhere you go, just be smart and safe. My "safe" hometown just had an armed robbery of a business.

Hi Doug. If memory serves me correctly, the balcony seats are raised. I have a photo I can send you, that was taken from the stage when my boyfriends band played there. The back section is definitely raised. Is that considered balcony?
