I don’t know which I enjoyed more today: getting to know Betsy, learning Beaufort’s fascinating history from her, or pedaling around this charming town. It was so enjoyable, and Betsy was so knowledgeable, that I’m going to make a point of coming back again. Highly recommend. If the description sounds interesting to you, seriously, don’t miss it.

During our vacation to Beaufort, NC, my family and I embarked on a culinary bike tour with Ms. Betsy, and we had an immensely phenomenal experience! The beautiful breeze, scenic views, and quaint appeal of the lovely town left us all breathless in wide-eyed wonder. Moreover, Ms. Betsy's splendidly vibrant personality and tremendous knowledge of the historic area and Nicholas Sparks' novels complemented and enhanced an already astounding experience. Our lunch at Beaufort Grocery Company was succulent, and our subsequent stops at the Olive Oil Company and Beaudega were diverting and delightful! In conclusion, we had such a blessed time, and if you want to enjoy the sights of the city and history of the area, Hungry Town Tours is an absolutely priceless experience!! Thank you so much, Ms. Betsy, and it was a pleasure hearing your story and meeting your husband, David, as well!

If I only had time to do one tour in Beaufort, this would be the one. Betsy is knowledgeable, funny, and personable. I wish the tour would have been longer—even though our tour went from lunch at Beaufort Grocery at 11a.m. to our ride through the city until almost 3 pm! I can never get enough of Beaufort. Betsy seemed to know everyone in the town, and they all knew her as well. The next time we are in Beaufort, this will be the first activity we do.

This tour was a highlight of my recent visit to Beaufort. Betsey is very knowledgable about local history and her tour showed me the many interesting homes and sites of this lovely coastal town. She was also very helpful making sure my bike was properly adjusted, that I was comfortable riding, and that we knew the proper hand signals and other safety matters
She also made an effort to show us 'extras' when she knew our interests.
I felt like I was out with a knowledgable friend, and not on a paid tour...

Betsy & David we’re fantastic. This experience was above and beyond what I was expecting! What a treat this was. Lunch,shopping, and a tour around town.

Hungry Town Bike tours is such a fun way to learn the history of Beaufort. Betsy led all 8 of us thru the beautiful streets sharing the history of Beaufort had great food and visit the local shop’s. Highly recommend to spend the day with Betsy and David you wont regret it!!

HungryTown bike tour was a fun tour learning the history of Beaufort with our group of friends on a girls trip. Betsy is a lovely tour guide & shares her love of Beaufort & her favorite shops. She made our safety a priority. Betsy’s husband David was also fun, entertaining & helpful. Would highly recommend!

We adventured through the culinary tour on bikes and had a blast! We enjoyed a delicious lunch at Beaufort Grocery (including a shared appetizer and petite desserts) then a wine tasting at Beaudaga, followed by a sampling at Beaufort Olive Oil. All eight of us girls pedaled our way through Beaufort’s historic water front. We’ll be back for another tour this summer. Thanks for being such incredible hosts!

My husband and I took the Historic Walking Tour and highly recommend it. We learned so much about the history of Beaufort. Our tour guide, Betsy, was a pleasure to listen to and we enjoyed every minute of this tour. Can't wait to return and do one of the bike tours next time.

My husband and I went on the historic tour and absolutely love it! We learned so much about the history of Beaufort. We enjoyed riding through the streets and seeing the historic sites. The best part of the tour was the owner, Betsy! She was so knowledgeable and made us feel like instant friends. I HIGHLY recommend taking a bike tour with Hungry Town Tours. It’s a wonderful way to see the city!

Thanks so much for your interest. Hungry Town Tours offers several different walking, bike, culinary, and history tours. Our bicycle and walking tours are $20 per person. Our culinary tours are $69 per person and are offered Monday thru Friday. We also offer a brunch tour on Sunday. All of our culinary tours can be done either by biking or walking. All of these tours are detailed on our website with the appropriate pricing.

Thank you so much for your interest in Hungry Town Tour Tours. We are open year-round for walking, bike, culinary, and history tours. That particular week, we are open November 22-25 due to the holiday. We have found more and more people are booking further out to ensure the day and time they desire. It would be best to give us a call any day from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. do discuss the type of tour you would like to take. As Hunter356 mentioned, you can reach us at 252-648-1011.
