Best distillery to visit in Belmont NC. You will not regret. All there rum is super delish. I have tried them all. Don't forget to take their tour which is offered on Saturdays.

I meet some friends on a rainy Saturday afternoon for the tour and tasting. Was quite surprised to have some excellent rum. Not a big fan of the silver rum (1st tasting) but everything after was completely amazing. The basil was my favorite and the Queen Reserve. Very impressed with the coconut and spiced. If you are looking for a great rum for eggnog, their spiced would fit the bill and then some. Keep your shot glass! Owner gave the tour which was great hearing the history.

It's always great to visit to the Muddy River Distillery! Queen Charlotte's rum is our favorite but also enjoy the Paw Paw Murphy's Nutcrackin' Amaretto Shine they are selling their.

This was such a fun tour considering I have never done a rum distillery tour before. Learned a lot about the process, the staff were friendly and informative and the product was top notch! Definitely recommend if you enjoy tours/outings like this! We used a groupon too so got to take our sample shot glasses home!

Yep, basil flavored rum. Yum. Also, plain, coconut, spiced and silver 4 yr and amber 4 yr reserves. Also candy nut balls and spiced rum cigars. Interesting presentation. A worthy family run business

It is small so you don't have to walk very far at all. You do need to go up a flight of stairs to get in and there is some uneven ground. I would call and ask if there is a ramp or elevator. I don't recall.
