Parking lot needs work due to a huge drop down onto the gravel. Very tough to back out of the spot as well

We had a beer and a cider flight - good options for both. I appreciate that they serve than beer. Very laid back atmosphere- tables and seating outside with lighting and live music.good place to come hang for a while. It’s off the main road and the back is lined with tress, doesn’t feel like you’re in the city.

We stopped by on a Tuesday evening. It was pretty busy so we shared a table outside with other people. The food truck has pizzas and dips. They have very cool merch for sale. I would be comfortable bringing my children here as they have a kids area and things for them to do.

The brewery had a great space for kids to run, great beer (and a mocktail since I couldn’t drink at the time), and delicious pizza!

My husband and I visited the Appalachian Mountain Brewery table at the Chow Chow Food Festival in Asheville and had a great experience. Friendly staff and great cider. The Southern Belle hard cider was great. Full of flavor and delicious! Definitely going to visit the brewery and look for products in the stores.

We actually went to the new tap room in Mills River, NC … a fantastic experience for solos, couples, families, and groups of friends. The dry rub wings and the pretzel we only topped by the beverage selection. Go and enjoy!

Small brewery with limited covered seating. The outdoor seating is old picnic tables with crap umbrellas. The 828 Lager is decent but other than that the offerings are almost all IPAs.

I bought a 12 pack of Long Leaf IPA at a local grocery store about 3 months ago. I got home and it spewed everywhere. I opened another one a few days later and it spewed everywhere. I tried a few days after that and it did it again. I threw the rest of them away. I called the brewery in Boone and they gave me the email of the company that cans their beer. I emailed them and they emailed me back and said they would send me a thank you package to make up for it. I emailed them again after about 3 weeks and they said it was on the way.About 3 weeks later I called Boone again and they said that they would take care of it.That has been over 2 weeks. Not only was I out the beer, I had to clean up the mess. I was also not told the truth about the package 3 times.I have been to the brewery several times in the past, but I will not go back.I will not buy any more AMB beer either.

A large group of us visited on a Saturday and found it to be very crowded. Over time we were able to find seating, and it was a very fun atmosphere. Lots of choices for beers and ciders. There is a food truck in the parking lot, and they primarily serve pizza.

Is AMB kid/family-friendly? We're planning a trip over Labor Day and would love to check it out, but we'll have kiddos with us. Several breweries around Charlotte welcome families, but I'm not sure how this one rolls...Thanks!
