Can my fiance and I have a simple wedding ceremony here with our close friends/family? We wont really be more than 15 minutes max but are concerned what we would need to do to do that. Help!

Hi! Who did I contact to plan/coordinate a wedding at the Romare Bearden Park? I am browsing locations in Charlotte area for future brides. What were the rules and policies of hosting a wedding there? Do you remember their rates and open rental dates?

I saw your post on Trip Advisor about your wedding in Romare Bearden Park. I'm looking at having our wedding there, but when I visit the website for the park I don't see any mentionings of them allowing weddings. How did you go about booking? Did you just call?

Hello Nicole, I cannot speak to a wedding there. However, I have seen wedding party having photos taken there. You may need to contact Charlotte Chamber of Commerce or the Central Region Office (980-314-1002) for more info regarding wedding in that public space.
