Very Informative. Very good tour. Patrick is very knowledgeable. Do not second guess this tour. Patrick picked us up at our hotel. Took us to many garages, telling us about each one on the drive. When entering the garages, Patrick was welcomed by the employees. He is well known in the garages. I was full of questions, he answered them all. He also has a humerus side. I did ask silly questions. I can not write enough good things about him and this tour. Just do it. Will not be disappointed.

We recently took the garage pass shop tour with Patrick Bernall. He was a great tour guide as he was a former pit crew member. He has inside information and was able to get us up close to see pit crew practices. I had an issue with my knee at the time and he had a step stool thatI could use to get in. Very accommodating. Highly recommend you take his tour if you are in the Charlotte area during race season.

We toured 6 different race shops. Patrick were very helpful , he arrived at our hotel at the appointed time, stopped where the pit crews were practicing, was a wealth of information, went at a pace where you didn’t feel rushed, and answered any questions we had. He was on the lookout for owners or drivers and we were able to meet Joe Gibbs and get an autographed book from him. Would highly recommend taking this tour. We had the best day ever on the Garage Pass Tour with Patrick he was very knowledgeable!! He exceeded all of our expectations! He has worked in NASCAR knows the business inside out , during the tour he makes you feel like you are with a family member. Can't say enough about how great it was

This tour was the highlight of our 2-day exploration of Concord, NC!! My husband and I know nothing about NASCAR but joined this tour to accommodate friends. WE ALL HAD A BLAST! Our very experienced tour guide, Patrick B, had previously worked as a "pit crew athlete" with several A-list NASCAR teams. He provided our intimate tour group with lots of colorful stories and information not seen in any brochures.
AND THE CARS -WOW- What a thrill to be provided with close-up viewing of Gibbs, JR Motor Sports and Penski cars being prepared to race at Bristol this weekend. We witnessed a variety of Race Day preparations-- Everything from computer measurement of strict NASCAR specs to the shining up of driver helmets. Some driver sightings and THE Joe Gibbs walked past our group with a nod and "hello".
Well worth our travels from Ohio and Texas. We will repeat this memorable tour in the future!!

This is tour is a must for anyone visiting the Charlotte area! Neither my husband or myself are racing enthusiasts, but when in NASCAR country immerse yourself in the culture. My husband and I booked the 6 shop tour and were impressed with the professionalism and breadth of knowledge Patrick possessed. We ended the tour with respect for the sport and new found insights on the process. This tour is worth every penny!

I fell into this tour by chance. I enjoy motor sports but don’t really follow NASCAR. After I went to the Joe Gibbs facility on my own to see them raise a winning banner from the weekend before, I checked NASCAR tours on Google and found this tour. Our guide Patrick was fantastic and knowledgeable. His personal experience in the industry I believe is invaluable to the tour. Patrick was friendly and all other tour goers were very friendly as well. My Dad, my son and myself are all thrilled to have gone and experienced this.

We just completed the full tour of the garages with our tour guide, Patrick. Prompt pickup in the morning and excellent ride to 6 garages. His knowledge and friendliness made for a fun fact filled day. A great way to tour the garages without the driving hassle. Highly recommended with no issues.

Pat, our tour guide, was amazing. He was on pit crews for many years and now works with a vendor for the teams. This gives him great knowledge of everything and he knew people at all the garages. This gave us access and information that we would not have gotten by visiting the garages on our own. Patrick got us access to pit crew practices which was really cool. He also gets you a special discount at all the garage nascar gear shops. That saved us a fair amount too. We did the 6 shop tour and I can’t recommend it and Patrick more. My family really had a great time.

We flew in from Texas on a short 3 day mini vacation. These tours are a great opportunity to see behind the scenes of the race shops in action. We saw how the race cars come to life from the various stages of the raw chassis to the finished product and ready to go into the haulers. We did 2 tours with Patrick the 1st being the race shop tours, 2nd being the Richard Childress tour of his race shop complex and winery. We had a delicious lunch at the winery. You must try the pimento cheese dip with pork rinds…delicious! We sat out on the patio over looking the complex….very relaxing. The RCR vineyard is absolutely beautiful with its lush green rolling hills. It compares to Italy’s Tuscany vineyards, landscape and building architecture.
Patrick is a great guide who knows NASCAR. We didn’t have to worry about driving and finding all the race shop facilities on our own. These tours save you time by letting Patrick do all the driving for you. He took us on some back roads to the various shops that saved us precious time and were very scenic as well. He had several hidden treasures he shared with us along the way that made our 2 tours with him very meaningful.
We highly recommend these tours and would do them all over again.

This is a must do if you want to see the race shops. Patrick Bernal was an excellent tour guide. He took us to several shops, gave a tour of each shop and we even ran into Coach Gibbs and he took the time to sign his book for each of us. There were 6 of us and a family of four joined us. Would highly recommend.

Does this tour go anywhere different that a visitor can not go? Like actually into the shop not just on the viewing platforms? If I only went to one facility would this tour show me more than doing it myself?

One more thing. Dale Jr.'s shop does have tours that are open to anyone you just need to check when. That tour went all of the way through the shop with time to ask questions. Without Patrick I don't think that we would have gotten the personal tour of Justin Hailey's Xfinity shop. That guy stopped working on shock absorbers and came over to Patrick. We spent about 30 minutes with this guy and it was just Patrick, my wife and I. We went into the shop where they were hanging the bodies on the chassis and he gave us an up close look at their pit box. Way cool stuff. Explained the carbon fiber bodies also.
