My wife and I traveled 2 hours to visit Gaston Pickers. All items that I asked about were NOT for sale. They could not have cared less. I won't waste any gas money on this place, having to guess what items may or may not be for sale. If it's more than 30mins from you, don't waste your time. There are plenty other places around Charlotte that actually have items for sale. I've included the msg I sent to them, without a reply. Shocker.
Hello, my wife and I were in your store this morning. I was interested in the 2 of the Nascar noses you had displayed overhead. When I asked someone how much they were, I was told they weren't for sale. I also asked about an item in the closed Toy Land section. Same thing, not for sale. I didn't question it because at that point I was pretty livid and nothing helpful was going to come out of my mouth. I was told that the only piece for sale was the Hamlin nose that was outside. No disrespect but that was sun drenched, faded, and not worth anything. I wasn't even offered the Yeley piece that had a price tag on it next to the other noses.
It's easy for you to say not for sale but take the customer into consideration. We drove 4hrs today, just to visit your store. How would you feel if you drove that length of time, spent $60 in gas, only to be told not for sale? There weren't even any signs on them saying NFS. I'm trying to support local businesses and I imagine business isn't easy in this period of time either and you can't afford to pass on any sale. I wasn't even going to haggle. I collect Nascar sheetmetal and don't mess around when buying.

Well worth the visit. Had about an hour to visit. Takes 2-3 home to see all. AWESOME CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Stopped by with not enough time to see it all. Very nice staff and wonderful items. Varied items which offer everyone to see a must-have. Would love to return.

We swung by to check this place out and were impressed by the excellent displays of merchandise which has been collected over the years. Prices seemed reasonable and staff was friendly. Aisles are numbered for easy reference. Lots of unusual items. Definitely worth a visit.

When in the Gastonia area, I always stop by Gaston Pickers to see what new inventory has been added. It's a great place to wile away hours just looking at all the variety of collectibles (largely) and antiques (some) in the various vendor booths. The really good items get gone fast, so it's best to stop by and browse often. The staff are friendly and helpful. So, if looking for something specific, they have a good knowledge of the vendors and inventory and can give you tips on where to find it. There is a lot to see, so plan for a couple of hours to really browse around. Prices are fairly reasonable but, as with anything, if it's a real antique, the price reflects it. For the collectible or antique lovers, this is a good one to visit. Now, if they just had a coffee/tea shop with some bakery items, it would be excellent!

There were a lot of nice and interesting finds here, and the staff was freindly. There was not a nice flow among the sections. You walk in to a dead end room, then you come out down a short hall to the more dead ends, then when you find your way around, they put more walls up and it was hard to sort of go thru smooth. There is a HUGE room with lots of stuff, but it was messey and impossbile to move around. Nothing in this area had prices. That was the problem with a lot of the vendors, they just had there items sitting there with no prices. How hard is it to price your stuff? If you want people to buy your things, then price them. Its not hard to do. Then there were some items that had NOT FOR SALE on them. WHY, have them at all? We did get a few items, and what was priced was fair.

Great place for a variety, and the prices are reasonable. Staff is very helpful. There are a lot of nice antiques in good condition.

We were traveling through and love the picker shows on TV. This was more of an antique store with individual rented booths. They have a lot of stuff and it would take hours to see it all. The staff members were super friendly!

While in Gastonia, we visited the Gaston Pickers Shop. Very amazing, especially if you are in to collecting antiques. My husband and I are not totally into collecting but enjoy seeing all the different items. It's definitely worth a visit. It is huge, clean and the staff friendly. We talked to one of the owners and learned about the shop and the area. I would definitely suggest a visit.

We visited not knowing what to expect, but were pleasantly surprised. Most of those who run it were friendly, and there are some great items for any age or person in here. I would take someone back and go again. There is also a small cafe inside, for refreshments. Definitely worth your visit sometime.
