Nice area to take a stroll and enjoy the good weather days. There is a small trail to walk and see other memorial sites as well.

My second trip here to this specific memorial to pay my respects to those Marines and Sailors..... Located in beautiful and easily accessible hideaway site under piney trees. You can be alone when you want to be or not. At this time of year it is perfect. Looking forward to future expansion...

I will never say anything bad about any site dedicated to our fallen heroes and ones that have dutifully served our country. I loved the lighted paths at night and the slightly different Marine emblem of the eagle/world spoke volumes! The colorful waterfall was beautiful to see off the glass reflections that are lined in names of service members. I loved it and the fact the walk to see/read the info was not overwhelming and enjoyable!

We toured the park. I was especially moved by the tribute to those that were killed in the Beruit bombing. They were sleeping in their barracks when a truck bomb was used to kill them. They were a part of our peacekeeping force.
The Vietnam Vet glass wall in the round. Was impressive and moving. I would suggest this to anyone near this area.

We decided to visit the Memorial Gardens because there is not a lot to do in the area. It is a beautiful, peaceful place to walk around.

We took our 11 yo to the memorial. Coming from a long line of military we visit these site a lot but this was the first one we had seen with all the name like in DC. Watching my 11yo start to comprehend the magnitude of the cost of war made for a wonderful teaching moment.
