Pure awesomeness! Great family fun! Give yourself plenty of time. The 2 hour float can easily become longer. Great little river beaches and plenty of wildlife. 👍👊

Our big family crew had a wonderful time tubing with this company. They are friendly, well-organized and they make the whole experience fun and oh so easy! Our group had all ages from 6 to 76 and everyone had a blast. We rented tubes for our coolers so we had adult beverages and snacks. There are rope swings and spots to stop along the way. A wonderful way to spend a summer afternoon.

It was enjoyable time, but we expected a little more rough water. It was mostly slow going. The people running the place were very friendly. I was disappointed by the fact that their restaurant was closed (pandemic strikes again).

What a great way to travel. This company makes it so convenient!!! Park in lot. Pay $20 and you go on a bus to their spot up the river and get your tube and oar!! Yes you need an oar to help you in many situations. Old and young will enjoy. If you can wear water sandals that stay on your feet. Then float back to your car. Loved it!!! We even ate picnic lunch at a picnic table in the shade they had by the registration desk. Even if it drizzles for a moment no worries it’s just a great trip!

We caught the last shuttle of the day at 3:00pm. This was a refreshing calm float down the river. The trip time was right at 2 hours but could have been longer if we had stopped and explored more. The price was higher than other tubing we have done but we felt we got our monies worth.

Had a great time with two teens. Staff was very friendly and helpful. They were selling waterproof phone carriers for $10 and they worked great! We took the extended trip and parked in a different place, but the bus picked us up on their way. The only downside of the extended trip is there is no where to change when you get out of the river. It was fine for us, we changed in the car. The tubes were very comfortable.

Great food!! Tubing is excellent. Pet friendly. Love the Bigfoot burger. A must try. Friendly staff.

While on vacation in Asheville we (family of 4, two kids 13 and 11), we did the river tubing and had a great time.
We arrived at around 10am on a Sunday in late August. It was just us and one other person. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They hold on to your car key while you are on the river. After a quick bus ride to the start, you get your tube (which has a back to it - more comfortable). Also each get a paddle which are needed, not only for guiding your tube but also to splash your kids :)
Would advise all to wear water shoes. If you wear flip flops or crocs you might lose them in the river. Also we all wore life jackets (required for the kids). Adults probably didn't need them, but better safe then sorry. River is not deep, but does have some faster rapids in areas.
The rapids were the best part. Kids were a little nervous, but we attached two tubes together (one kid with each parent) and it worked out well.
At first we were going to bring a cooler with food and drinks, but it is not necessary and also the extra float would have been more of a burden. We got back by 12:30 and just ate lunch once we got back.
Overall, it was a great experience, relaxing and good family fun. Highly recommend.

Awesome place, awesome people, super friendly and helpful. Gear was all in good shape and clean. So glad to see them doing well and providing some family friendly fun for McDowell County. We had 3 of our teens and our 9 year old, all did well with it and despite recent devastating flooding in our area the river was safe and fun. Excited to hear of their plans for expanding too!! Support this local business, keep them going strong! So much fun, definitely recommend!
