Been wanting to try SUP for years but always chickened out....until now!
Visiting family in the area and the 4 of us took a 1 hr lesson followed by an hr on our own. We were able to make a same day reservation but not sure if this is always the case!
The owners were really nice and gave great demos and instructions before we headed into the water. The first 5 min I was like what did I get myself into? The demo beforehand prepared me for the shaky legs feeling which made me understand it happens to everyone in the beginning! By 30-45 min in we were all standing and paddling pretty comfortably!
The last hour we did our own thing and even spent a little time laying on the boards and relaxing, it was so nice to be out on the water in such nice weather.
The next day I'm feeling it in every muscle in my lower body as well as my shoulders from the rowing. It's a good sore.
Looking forward to trying this again with this company on future visits as well as new areas.

Family was visiting the area, Found their information on Groupon
Lake Norman Paddle Board gave a Great Deal and for a first-time experience couldn't have asked for a better experience
Barry was a great instructor and the area was beautiful. Perfect spot to explore.
