Hello, First off, we want to apologize for the language of the employees of the bike shop that shares a location with our museum, they are not our employees and we do not condone that type of language as representative of our owners. The bicycles in the bike shop (that is a distinct entity separate of the museum, businesses have shared large building spaces for years) are starkly different from bikes kids ride, they are high quality racing bicycles for endurance athletes. Our museum prides itself on a large collection of unique vehicles, they are one of a kind in that they have been featured in movies, races, and other shows for which no other cars have or they have a unique feature that sets them apart. If you took the time to read about our cars you would've seen that, but we cannot please everyone. In addition, we actually have bicycles in our museum, as well as toys, tractors, buggies, and memorabilia we celebrate all forms of nostalgia and history. We actually think bicycles are a great form of transportation worth celebrating (one of the earliest forms)! If you have been to one of the most famous car museums, the Henry Ford they feature not only cars but furniture, toys, tractors, bicycles and much more, we never say we are just a car museum we are preserving history in all forms. One of our pieces actually was originally on exhibit at the Henry Ford museum, you may have missed that? Our cars and items have been featured in many other prestigious and well-known museums, featured films, commercials, print, and exhibits so your critique of our museum falling short is not felt by those in the industry. Many thousands of visitors each year agree. As far as the buildings use, this is a private business and building for which the majority of the building is a museum with displays so I'm not sure where you feel the focus has shifted.
