A great setup to see an actual NASCAR garage. An overhead viewing area was very nice and went almost the whole length of the final assembly area. A lot of parking available. Got to see haulers from a distance but not other areas like paint shop or welding shop areas. Easy to see how much harder it would be for smaller teams to compete.

We mostly stopped here just to get a T-shirt…holy cow, it is so much more than just a team store!
From the ground level inside the team store, you can watch the crews work on the cars through large windows. You can also go up a flight of stairs and have an unobstructed open-air view of most of the shop, including the haulers and the cars getting prepped for the next race. Every car, hauler, and floor tile in the place just sparkled. I would have been comfortable eating off the floor in the shop it was so clean!
The items in the team store were reasonably priced and the two ladies working at the counter were very friendly. What an awesome experience!

Amazing race shop! This is the best stop in Mooresville! Such a great job really creating an experience that NASCAR & PENSKE fans can truly enjoy! The gift shop was incredible with a large selection of items. Hero Cards were available & everyone was SUPER NICE & friendly! A security guard was on duty & this place is just amazing! Super clean & super organized! Penske spared no expenses creating an environment to help the fan get up close & personal with the displays & garage area. WE enjoyed this stop SO much & will absolutely make a return visit. I highly recommend this stop!

Top rate store to find all forms of racing gear from NASCAR to INDY. the cat walk experience was out of this world. i can see why they consistently are high performers. There were 5-6 haulers in having work done, one of Brad, Joey and Ryan's cup cars being worked on, have never seen such a clean and organized operation. So glad we visited. No charge to visit

I took my dad on a trip to Charlotte to see all the NASCAR shops in the area. After finding the correct entrance into the building, we were amazed by the access they give you to see the teams in action. My dad and I got to see Joey Logano, Logano was heading out and going to the Richmond Race. ( We had heard Joey does come and interact with visitors. The fan walk is the best part of the shop, you get to walk a cat walk above the cars and watch the crews setting up the cars for races coming up. It was a great experience and I would do it all over again.

When I drove up to the complex, I was amazed at how huge it was. Walking in I was greeted by Carol, and told me I could walk around. I went upstairs to the fan walk and could see the haulers, cars and most of the facility. Very impressive.
My fault for not planning more time to spend there, could have easily spent 2 hours and only had 1 hour. Carol was very nice, and I told her I would be back.

Penske Way is off of Mazeppa Road. Once you turn into the drive at the Penske facility, follow the signs to the visitor lot. Plenty of parking in the huge lot. Go to the visitor entrance and enter into the store. The register person will gladly answer any questions regarding your visit. The self guided tour is free. Browse through the store and go to the elevator which goes to the balcony. Stroll the balcony and see the mechanics preparing the cars for the next race. Their lunch time is 11:30 and most of the mechanics leave. The place is spotless. After the balcony return to the store before leaving. At the door is a stand where you can take an info/statistic card on various drivers. They are free but the sign says Take One Please.

We're planning to visit the Penske Racing factory in NC and do the tour where they prepare the racecars. but i've not been able to find out how much does the tour cost? Visiting in November. What is the weather like at that time of the year? Coming from Australia

Penske's garage is a must visit. From above the cars you see while on the fan walk are awesome. We watched a car bring "shrink wrapped", and all along we thought NASCAR racing cars were painted!! The car went from being non-descript to a beautiful car ready for a show room. The property on which the Penske garage is situated is a huge beautifully groomed area which will rival any park. So green and impeccably groomed with gently rolling hills, a pond with a large fountain and many beautiful flower beds/trees. We have been to Mooresville many times and always find another NASCAR gem. Another great place to visit is the RCR Richard Childress Museum, garage and restaurant-lovely atmosphere and very tasty food.
