Went out with Capt. Oliver for a sunset cruise as part of our anniversary trip. Captain Oliver was fun, personable, and knowledgable. We saw lovely views and learned about boating as well as local culture and history. 10/10 experience and highly recommend!

We were hoping for a fun day on the water…and we found it! We did the full day experience with the combination of fishing and sight-seeing. We were able to do some fishing in the morning, then set-up on the beach at the Cape Lookout Lighthouse. We decided to split up so the girls could enjoy some beach time, and Capt Oliver took the boys back to fish a little more. When the Spanish Mackerel weren’t biting after lunch, he brought out the rods and reels so we could do some bottom fishing. Everyone had fun! Then we regrouped, did some sand dollar hunting, saw the wild horses at Shackelford Banks, and even spotted some dolphins that let us get so close! Capt Oliver was amazing! When we were done, our kids (ages 7, 11, and 12) made us promise we would give a 5-star review and book again next year! We definitely will! We would highly recommend this trip to anyone. It was a great day and worth every penny!

Captain Kevin took us for a fantastic trip around the harbor, into the ocean and ended up going into the marina behind our beach house! It was a great time and I would heartily endorse Lookout Adventures!

Did a 4 hour private island hopping tour last week. As always, Captain Oliver was great! He even let us do some fishing on the way out to the island and we caught several mackerel. More importantly the kids found tons of great shells! We've used Lookout Adventures the past 2 years, and we'll definitely be booking again next year!

We had an amazing day fishing. Father, son, son-in-law and grandson. Caught many Spanish Mackerels near shore in rough seas made relatively smooth by our excellent Captain. Then fished inshore and caught a variety of fish, many double hook ups. I highly recommend.

My daughters and I did a day trip with Captain Oliver. We had an amazing time! He let us split our day like we wanted to. Very accommodating! We fished and caught Spanish mackerel and sea bass. Went to a private spot to collect sand dollars. We were able to get 10 to take home. We swam on Shackleford and went to the light house. I would highly recommend Captain Oliver. He is a pleasure to spend the day with and is very knowledgeable about island history.

Had a Blast with Captain Oliver. Loved that this option was 4 hours (much better than the 6 hour ones elsewhere for our crew which included a 5 and 8 year old boy)! Also loved the twilight option to avoid the midday blaze. Though fishing is never a guarantee we lucked into a ton of Spanish mackerel. Our boys declared it the “best beach trip EVER”.
Captain Oliver was a great teacher, super patient, and had all the tools to make it a great experience for kids and adults alike!

We had a great trip fishing with Capt Oliver. Weather had been bad for a couple days and he was honest about may be difficult finding fish.
The five of us caught more fish than we could eat and had a very memorable fishing trip.

We did an island hopping adventure (7:00 to 11:00 a.m). Captain Oliver took us to a unpopulated sandbar where we found sand dollars (low tide). He was so knowledgeable and friendly. We also loved Cape Lookout.
