Just stopped in and Loved it ! great guys in a Great place. Sooo much history. you just have to stop in when you are in town. The tour in the police car and the old jail was a blast. We had young family with us and they remembered all of itr from time growing up around there grand dad.

Replica of Wally's garage turned into a gift shop. Fun place to snap a couple photos.
Would not have wanted to visit 'Mayberry' without a visit to Wally's. Right next to the jail where Otis slept. lol

Squad car tour was a blast for Mayberry fans. Our driver was very knowledgeable about the show and pointed out all the interesting stuff around Mt. Airy relating to Mayberry. He also showed us other things of interest in the town. Wallys Service station has nice Mayberry souvenirs too. Like stepping back in time !

We took the Squad Car tour from Wally’s Station. We really enjoyed it. The driver was fun and knowledgeable. We would recommend it for sure 👍🏼

Very friendly and nostalgic. I grew up on Andy Griffith and I really enjoyed it. You can catch a ride in the squad car from here.

Great exterior for photo's for those that have watched the TV show. Friendly staff knowledgeable about the show and actors. We purchased a couple souvenirs from their store. The price for a ride in the cop car was too pricey for 2 people. It's a set rate $50.00 for up to 5 people in the car. We wished they had rates based on the number of occupants.

Wallys service station is by the movie prop courthouse its free and you can buy souvenirs and Mayberry gifts. You can also schedule your sheriff squad car tours here. It's well worth the visit. With plenty of free parking.

Awsome place, we took lots of pictures. Police cars and tow trucks. They also have tours around town in the police cars.

We stopped by Wally's Service Station on a day they happened to be closed, but the guys were there giving squad car rides. And a very kind man offered to take our family photo. (Thank you!) He took a few really fun shots of us in front of the station by the sheriff's car. They also let us go inside the replica courthouse and jail free of charge. It was so neat!! You can walk inside the jail cell and sit in Andy's chair. There's a little wooden donation box inside; make sure you help them out by leaving something on your way out. :)

The Squad Car tours leave from here, but they actually are a separate business. I was wearing my USAF Retired cap when I went in and she gave me a P-38 can opener as a souvenir. She was about to give me a second when I entered again after the tour, but I reminded her she had give one to me an hour earlier.
It's small and crowded and there are things to buy, but no pins or stickers, which is what we collect from our travels.

I was wondering if on Saturday my sister and I could get a brief video of us with the squad car and maybe the driver. Also, do I need to make a reservation? We don't want the tour but would pay for the video opportunity.
