Just the simulated court house maybe 15 minutes. Go to the other places next door add another 30 minutes maybe a little more.

It costs $8 to get into the Andy Griffith Museum but the rest was free. There are tours there, about 45 minutes long, in a squad car like Barney drove. It’s my understanding that it was $40 for as many people as you could fit in a car (not each).

I don't remember seeing anything posted for the operating hours. Everything in town seems to be a little bit subjective, with hours that vary depending on the day of the week and the season. We were there on a Saturday in April and many things were already closing up shop by 3 pm (the Courthouse was still open until at least 5:30 or 6 pm that day). It, and the replica shop fronts for other Mayberry businesses, is adjacent to Wally's Service Station, so it is possible that the Courthouse hours coincide with the Service Station hours, but I can't be certain. I would recommend calling ahead to get a better idea of the hours of operation.
