Fantastic place to see all sorts of local artist's work. All different mediums. Varied prices. Some very reasonable. Bought several items. Also enjoyed speaking with the man working the counter. Each artist takes a turn manning the store.

Nice gallery. Fun to walk around a bit, Lots of local art available to purchase. Friendly staff. Worth a stop in.

The nicest arts and crafts store I have ever been in. The MAC Murphy Art Center gallery is HUGE and has hundreds of different items from glass art to wood, paintings, photography, digital art, all types of jewelry, pyrography, baskets, hand-painted eggs, Christmas ornaments, an amazing assortment of hand-created cards, crocheted and knitted items, quilts and scarves, dolls, pottery, wind-chimes... the list goes on and on! The gallery is run by the artisan crafters who belong to the Valley River Arts guild and the shop is open all day, 10am-5pm, and even on Sundays in the summer and fall. We did all of our Christmas shopping there and take all of our friends and out-of-town guests to see it. Definitely a must-see destination!!

First of all this place is huge, much larger than it looks from the outside. So many different mediums of art to appreciate. They have stained glass, jewelry, photography, dolls, paintings & more. They have some really beautiful pieces. Classes for all ages are offered here in a range of different opportunities. Hours are 10-5 Monday-Saturday. Wonderful place to get inspired!

Beautiful blown glass, paintings and photography, with an excellent layout. It's a small space, but it seems like there are so many rooms and nooks and crannies with art that it is an adventure!

Many kinds of arts to explore in this co-operative venture. Paintings, photography, jewelry, woodworking and pottery are among the offerings here. Prices vary, so you're sure to find something to come away with.

We stopped in this gallery while exploring downtown Murphy. Each of the artists take turns in the gallery. During our visit, Penny Johnson was there and told us about many of the artists as well as the monthly art walk which runs through October. Though we did not purchase one of her pieces, she did help us to find a photograph in the size we wanted. Visiting the week after the solar eclipse, we saw amazing photos and paintings of the event. Worth a visit if in the area.
