What a beach!

What a beach! We were looking for something picturesque with easy parking where we could let the dog run, and this ticked all the boxes. Exceptionally clean with plenty of amenities, without looking like Bkackpool sea front (sorry Blackpool) if you're a NT member, there's free parking two minutes up the road at the NT centre along with tea rooms etc.

My little piece of heaven

Came down to Croyde for a four night break. I’m a regular visitor staying every month of the year as I find it’s the one place I can walk to the beach and totally chill out. Very blessed with gorgeous weather and even cam back with a tan not something you would expect end October
Surprised how busy it was especially outside of school holidays but still found times when it was quiet to surf and walk the beach. No coastguard on duty which was nice not to be shunted into a small area of the sea

What a fab place. Never been to this part of Devon before would definitely go again. The beach is fabulous and the sunsets from it were amazing.

Wonderful part on the English coast.

Love visiting this part of Devon and Croyde is absolutely lovely. Wonderful beach, lovely campsite nearby and lots to do including plenty of coastal walks.

Good resort and area

Unison Croyde Bay Resort very nice complex, plenty to do on site with various games etc both outside and indoors. A short walk along the road will lead you to a path with steps, not suitable to disabled use however, but they will lead you down to a glorious sandy beach with good waves for surfing and shallow for some distance out for swimming paddling.

Simply the best place on earth

Always amazing to visit Croyde, day tripped here, had a swim in the sea and had a go at surfing. Then a walk up baggy point before a wander into the village for a yummy pasty and dinner before heading home. Always feel full of happiness after a visit here.

Beautiful beach

Beautiful beach, well life guarded sea and great for body boarding, get a good wave and it’s 50 yards+ coming in on the surf. We stayed locally, under ten minutes walk to the beach on good paths and trails. When the tide turns the current is quite strong even in some of the shallower areas.

We had a lovely time at Croyde Bay, the beach was clean, the water was chilly, the sunset beautiful. Everyone was very friendly.

Beautiful beach, it was a heatwave when we visited so very busy, but didn't feel overcrowded. Lots of golden sand, dunes, sparkling sea and rock pools. There is a cafe/shop which also sells some beach essentials like parasols. Food is mainly burgers, veggie/vegan is fake meat but beans & fries also available.
Tap to refill water bottles is a very welcome addition.

Beautiful beach location

Beautiful beaches, lovely seaside town, kids loved surfing or body boarding when waves picked up.if you go in peak season book popular restaurants well in advance as they get totally booked up and then it’s hard to find somewhere to eat near the coast. Stayed in a beautiful Airbnb and could easily walk to the beach. Delicious Jude’s ice cream for sale near the main entrance to the beach but slow service in the summer! Amazing walks. Just a fab place to visit.
