Went there almost by accident for a morning walk. We weren't surprised to see people fishing but were surprised as to how they were fishing. They were throwing nets into the water and then drawing the net closed. We saw quite a few fish caught. It seemed like high tide so probably the best time of day.
The jetty also had quite a few stations for bait and/or processing fish. Nice for a walk too.

Took a walk out after lunching nearby. Not a long jetty, few people fishing, nice breeze. Worth taking some time to take-in the scenery.

The Redcliffe Esplanade is such a great walk with amazing views. This is fairly easy and can be long depending if you branch off to other beaches. There is excellent restaurants around also for a nice meal.

We went for a walk along the Woody Point Jetty. There were a number of fishermen throwing cast nets into the water trying to catch the mullet. It was very interesting and entertaining.
The views are lovely and the history of the jetty is also very interesting and is portrayed at start of the pier.

Fantastic view and photo opportunity , easy walk out across the water. Very relaxing, a definite must if coming to Redcliffe.

We went to the Jetty to see the boats in the water and then got fish and chips and sat watching the amazing sunset opposite Belvederes.

We came as a group of friends for a catch up at Crockatt Park right next to the jetty and had burgers, fish & chips and watched the kids play on the playground & flying fox. The jetty is right next to the park and I took a walk and enjoyed the views back to Woody Point & out to the ocean and Hornibrook / Houghton Highway bridge after our catch up. I spotted plenty of fish from the jetty though it was hot so you’ll need to find a shaded area if you want to stay.

LOVE the views, the calm, the relaxation and the playgrounds for the mini-lenials. Across from Woody's Seafood and The Belvedere! Perfect Sunday spot :)

A lovely casual stroll with gorgeous views and even fishing. Right on the foreshore. I have seen turtles and fish right in front of me.
