Bee Gees Way is a pedestrian laneway that runs off Redcliffe Parade, the main commercial street in Redcliffe parallel to the beach.
The Bee Gees moved to Brisbane with their parents when they were 11, 8 and 0 years old and lived in Australia for 8 years; some of their earliest concerts were at Redcliffe Speedway.
This street is like an open air museum, with statues, murals and photos, as well as a TV running documentaries and a sound system playing music.
It was neat seeing the 1970s pilgrims swaying to the beats all starry-eyed. Truth be told, I was feeling a bit nostalgic, too. Well worth a visit!

Even if you aren’t a Bee Gees fan this is a great tribute to a great group. So much early info and photos. Very nostalgic and interesting. In the words of the great Molly Meldrum…..’do yourself a favour’ and check it out.

Great little trip down memory lane, love the music and stories of the BEE Gees. Those that loved this group must try and visit this small time capsule.

What a cool tribute to an awesome band the brothers Gibb.
Very well done with large bronze statues of the Bee Gee's.
Photos, stories and their songs adorn the wall.
There is also a TV with a documentary playing continually.
Great photo opportunities.
Right in the Redcliffe sea frontage and shops.
Take your time lots too see.

In Redcliffe, facing the sea, a passage is dedicated to the famous Bee Gees group, bronze statues, photo exhibition, music, screen, very beautiful scenography for this free open-air museum. A must see.

We called in to Redcliffe, heading north from Brisbane and found this unexpected treasure, thanks to TripAdvisor.
The Bee Gees were part of my teenage soundtrack and I really loved this tribute to them.

If you are ever in Brisbane, go north 30 minutes to Redcliffe and take a moment (or many :-) ) to go and walk , reminisce and remember The Bee Gees and their heritage in Redcliffe.

It's a great walk of fame dedication to the Gibb Brothers. From their roots in Australia and England to their move to the USA and worldwide fame. This museum has it all and will be interesting to music fans.

Temporarily closed from 4/5/15. The MBRC advises that :

In Redcliffe during the late 1950s, three young brothers gathered around a microphone and for the first time performed using a name now famous around the globe.
Bee Gees Way temporary closure
Bee Gees Way will close temporarily from Monday May 4, 2015 to enable construction to begin on a new shade shelter and other enhancements to the walkway.
Barry Gibb to return home to Redcliffe
The Moreton Bay Region's iconic Bee Gees Way is currently closed for the construction of Stage 2 ahead of Barry Gibb's return home later this year to re-open the popular public walkway that honours the world-famous super group.
