Wonderful local winery with lovely wines and great atmosphere at the winery.

Lovely people running the place and good value.

Great place for all weather

We visited here on a rainy April day and apparently the weather kept the people away but there is no need to stay away. There is room outside but loads of room inside. Lovely wines and amazing staff. Plus some easy listening live music. Lots of fantastic artwork to look at and purchase.

Been there before

Another great day at Barley Stacks, such friendly staff and wine tasting. Pizza and cheese platters for lunch. Dog friendly too.

Excellent winery.

This was an excellent wine tasting with a hostess (sorry cant remember name) that was so knowledgeable with her wines she was amazing and she was also very comical, we were laughing so much. So so enjoyable and the wines were pretty good too and went really well with the pizzas they make. they were absolutely delicious. Would recommend you to stop here and check this place out, loved it.

Disappointed

We were in tasting today with the young lady

Our group purchased some bottles and made a point saying the we preferred the 2013 Shiraz over the 2014. So we ordered 2 x 2013, 1 x 2014 shiraz and one bottle of tawny port.

When we got home tonight we found that she gave us 3 x 2014 bottles. At $5 per bottle difference and not liking the 2014 we are pretty pissed off.

Too busy talking about her life and family drama’s.

Some good value wines and great service

My wife and I had an excellent tasting experience at Barley Stacks. Led by the enthusiastic and knowledgeable Carley, we worked our way through the complete range of wines and fortifieds. To top it off, we also did a gin and vodka tasting of the Sunny Hill Distillery products. The Distillery is closed for much of the week so it was great to have an opportunity to taste their products at Barley Stacks. The wines are mostly good quality with reasonable prices - while there was nothing outstanding, we most liked the white and rose sparkling wines and the bigger reds, shiraz and cab sav. We left delighted with our experience and with a heavy box of wines. Later in the week we visited Sunny Hill and were able to purchase some gin.

Best winery we have been to in SA

Great atmosphere, welcomed at the door. Knowledgable staff and top customer service. Pizza and cheese board were both delicious. Wines were priced well with great value cleanskins so something for everyone. Highly recommend!

Awesome wine tasting, family owned, superb customer service

Welcoming, friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Enjoyed wine tasting and awesome pizza. Dont miss this place when you are next on the Yorke. Great family owned business with top customer service, really listen to what you like and dislike in wines. Came away with a carton and will be back for more.

Spur of the moment wine tasting

We drove 20mins from Adrossan to the winery, such a beautiful drive through the wheat farms.

We were warmly welcomed and enjoyed a fantastic wine tasting, leaving with a couple of bottles and freighting home many more. They had some toys for our young son and soft drinks for our teenager. Although we didn't have any as we had just had lunch, the pizzas and cheese platters looked great and very reasonably priced.

Would definitely recommend you visit.
