If you are looking for some great NC food gifts this is your place. They carry all Carolina made marinades, honey, rubs. You can find some great local pottery and art here. They have recently started carrying varying olive oils, ( they can't keep it stocked it's so good!) Get the Beaufort cheese straws!

I have visited this store several times, and had a great experience each time! The manager is very nice and helpful, and there is a great assortment of items. My favorite NC goodies there are the Moravian cookies!

Always fun to explore the goodies! We shopped for some local honey (love the variety offered) and were delighted at the unusual food offerings! (pink pickled eggs for example). Candy by the pound is a favorite too! And the owners are very down to earth, gracious people.

Exploring this store is like a treasure hunt. There are always new items to see. It's great to know that the products that are sold here are made in NC.

Brought an out of town visitor this time (he bought a bottle of bloody mary mix!), but always love a chance to stop in here & pick out a yummy variety of old fashioned candies I can't find anywhere else! The Cow Tails candy my hubby loves to find in his packed lunches I can find several places, but NC General Store is the only place I've found the chocolate & starwberry Cow Tales along w/the original! Also love all the local honey, old fashioned bottles of "pop" (Cheerwine especially!) - so many yummy treats!!

What attracts you to this establishment is its small town charm, low but homey lighting and product shelves full of the goodies your mouth watered for as a child. We were in search of a particular honey and the store did not disappoint. The proprietor was friendly and helpful and just as you remembered grateful for your patronage.

Such a cute little store! They sell North Carolina food products and feature North Carolina pottery. Always something interesting there. Try Lily's Maple Butter--made in Wake Forest.

This store carries several local items. They have several varieties of coffee and will grind the beans for you. Cowboy blend is awesome! Honey, cheese straws, mixes, and more!

After moving to NC, most of my holiday gifts to friends and family on the west coast came from here. Lovely selection of jams, mixes, art, teas, gift packs... lots of fabulous items to choose from when giving a taste of NC as a gift.
