Chris and his wife Lynn have closed Lynn's Craft shop which held Chris's Gallery of works where you could see and purchase his work. He is still painting however and his work can be found around the island. One location for his Watercolours and Oil work as well as prints and cards is the Colouratura Fine Art Gallery, 45943 Cabot Trail,Indian Brook, NS. 902-929-2324

If you have to limit the number of places you stop to shop along the Cabot Trail this gallery should definitely be on the list. The paintings beautifully reflect the local scenery, and there are also striking paintings of Banff. The craft items range from pottery to knit items to jewellery. We visited twice and enjoyed meeting Christopher.

This is always on our must-do list. Christopher Gorey is a talented artist who manages to capture the spirit of place and the quality of light in his incredible pictures. Many have a Hopperesque feel to them, the feeling of being an observer into the time and place. Reasonable prices for lovely work.

We already had a Christopher Gorey 5 x 7 from purchased a number of years ago. This time we met Christopher and Lynne. We fell in love with Moonlight Cape Smokey and purchased it! A little bit of everything (crafts) but it is C Gorey's gallery. Thank you both.

There aren't many painters left on the Cabot Trail producing more than routine tourist fare. This is one. The artist is well-represented in Canada and the US. Primarily watercolors. Loves to chat.

Beautiful little gift shop with a nice variety of books, original artisan pieces and jewelry, and for collectors of Maritime art, a chance to meet the very well known and friendly artist, Christopher Gorey and his beautiful paintings

lovely stop on the Cabot Trail. Art work is lovely and the owner is friendly and helpful. Definitely a place to visit.
