Captain Chris kept us informed about the history of the islands and showed us some of the natural habitats and wildlife, with some intriguing stories too. We really enjoyed ourselves.

Four of us went out with Chris today on the Oak Island tour. What a great time we had! Chris is a very friendly guy and he kept us informed all along the tour, from telling us about all the sites along the way and some great stories about the history and legends of Mahone Bay and the surrounding islands. I would definitely recommend him.

Highly recommend this boat tour, 1.5 hours in the evening. Captain Chris is the best, great history and stories of the Mahone Bay area, very knowledgeable, friendly. It was a beautiful evening, saw seals on the rocks, sunset, boats, deer, lots of islands. Got some great photos.

Two hour tour around Mahone Bay, seeing the islands, some wildlife, expensive homes, the forces of nature (erosion) and the glorious Mahone Bay. Quite enjoyable.

My husband and I went on Chris’s 2 1/2 hour Oak Island tour, and it was so much more then just Oak Island!! Chris showed us seals, osprey nests, a shellfish farm (which we didn’t even know existed!!), and he also pointed out a number of islands and homes, along with their names and history. The tour along the shore of Oak Island was really great!!!!!
Definitely encourage everyone to take this tour, it was a fun way to spend an afternoon and Chris was an excellent guide!!!

Chris took us out on the July 20 Oak Island boat tour. Seeing the island with its long history was amazing, but going around the bay with all of its islands and wildlife was equally enjoyable. Chris is very friendly with an enormous amount of local knowledge and insight of the area. It was truly one of the highlights of our Canadian trip that I highly recommend!

My wife and I found ourselves in the Mahone Bay area last week one day when our original plans fell through at the last minute. We discovered South South Boat Tours - and we are so glad we did! It was an amazing 2.5 hour tour of Mahone Bay. The Captain was so well informed about all of the Islands, including Oak Island. Along the way we saw a porpoise and seal and a ton of birds, and he always took the time to stop to let us watch. Great time for kids and adults - we highly recommend this tour company.

This is the BEST,60 bucks canadian ever spent. For a cruise of the Mahone Bay and islands (drumlins)most have historical significance,a fish and lobster tutorial,vintage ship building shops,eagles ,dolphins oh yea and Oak Island We saw whats happening on the island and its not at the Money Pit, spoiler alert!!!Captain Chris is a knowledgeable working lobsterman who does tours aboard his super clean boat "Risky Business".With the official oak island tour being sold out for months this was an awesome option!!! Thankyuo Captain and good luck on your fishing charter

Even though the morning was grey and foggy, Chris took us out for the tour and we had a really good time. He knows a lot about the area and the told some really interesting stories about the islands and the people around the bay. Would love to go back and do this on a sunnier day.

My sister & I took Chris' s tour today. I am from Lunenburg and have taken this tour 3 times. Each time I learn more. My sister, from Ontario was thrilled with the day. Thank you Captain Chris. See you next season with more family in tow..
