We booked the Ontario Falconry Centre for our wedding. Unfortunately they did not show and we had a lot of disappointed guests. No refund has been provided and we are out $500. Would definitely not recommend booking. If you do book I would insist on a credit card so at least you have a chance of getting a refund.

Learned alot from our raptors expert Sam. Let us pet one of his birds and got to catch them on our hands. Incredible experience. Lots of different birds that we interacted with and gained so much appreciation for. Had to e transfer the funds and met Sam at his locale. Simple transaction and unforgettable experience.

Our trip to the Ontario Falconry Centre was just amazing from start to finish! Sam was super responsive to emails around booking the event and the date and he was so accomodating and friendly. The hands on experience with the various birds was truly fantastic for both child and grown up and Sam is simply excellent with children. Such fun for the family and worth every penny!!!

Positive: Communication, Professionalism, Quality, Value
Sam is knowledgeable, funny and charismatic! He responded quickly to calls and his emails had all of the information we needed. This experience has given me a new appreciation for birds of prey. They are truly magical creatures. Thank you Sam for such a remarkable and memorable experience. We will be back!

My son has been obsessed with Raptors and I thoroughly reviewed all options within striking distance of the GTA before settling on the Ontario falconry centre. I think all of the complainers here (who complain before they book anything) need to give Sam a break! His main job is to breed, raise & train raptors, consult on movie sets (How to Tame Your Dragon etc.) and these falconry sessions are in addition to the other stuff he has going on. I can see why he doesn’t want to spend most of his time clarifying every single enquiry that comes in. Just BOOK a private session and clarify how many people and then just GO and enjoy yourself. It was the most interesting wildlife experience I have ever had. Sam is authentic, funny, experienced and made sure that we got as close as possible to the majestic raptors. He is also Italian which is a major plus in my book! The photos speak for themselves. The feeling of being in a forest and having a bald eagle land on my arm was incredibly special and I will definitely definitely be booking this experience again. Thanks, Sam!!!!!

Took our grandsons who were visiting from Vancouver. Great experience; Sam was very informative and engaging with everyone. Highly recommend this outing!

We had a great time.Sam is very personable as well as knowledgeable.We got to hold all kinds of birds.One of a kind experience.I have told all my friends about it and can hardly wait to go back again.Thanks Sam for a great day.

Because of the rainy weather this spring we had to wait a while for our chance to go to the workshop. It was worth the wait. My wife and I had a great time and will go back again soon. We admired all the Hawks, Owls and Eagles up close and personal. We all held each species and it was very cool to look at and touch each of them.

My wife bought me a workshop and this "Sam" character and he kept cancelling on us for a year.
We are still awaiting a solution from him. I am surprised the birds of prey didn't feast on his rotten soul.

My husband and I were blown away by the experience of being in the presence of such magnificent birds, well handled by Sam, the proprietor of Ontario Falconry Centre. We were booked in for a Falconer of the Day session, and it was well worth it! Sam knows a great deal about birds, and is a bird guy through and through. If you want to learn from him and experience this wonder from someone who, rightly so, is passionate and protective of his birds- we can't speak highly enough about the day we had.

We met them off site (behind a church on Waverly Road in Bowmanville. The Center itself is located in Bowmanville. Our package was $50. I believe there was a $25 option as well.
