14 months ago I had a crazy idea to surprise my other half with a wedding for his 40th birthday. We live close to the forest centre and it was his venue of choice so off I toddled to have a look and book it. Once over the shock and getting their heads round what I wanted to do, all the staff there were amazing. Helen helped me plan and execute our celebration, supported my some what off the wall idea and on the night her and the other staff couldn’t have worked harder.
The venue was relaxed, there was plenty of space for our 100 guest, everyone had an amazing time and we just wish we could do it all again……every week! Lol.
We used The Grange Suite for our ceremony and the Rectory (think that’s the right name, its the cafe but cafe doesn’t do it justice to how it looks once done up) for our evening do. Helen helped me build a package that suited my theme, guest headcount and more importantly budget. Hog roast highly recommend 👍🏻
If you’re planning a surprise wedding…..or even one where both parties know…..then the Forest Centre is definitely a venue to look at. Thank you to everyone there, you helped make a once in a lifetime moment come true.

Went there today and the value for lunch is a disgrace, don’t mind paying any amount but to pay for lunch that was so little and tasted not so great was unreal really.
We had to go and get something else shortly after.

Great park and beautiful area, but arrived before car park opened, so parked in layby signed as no overnight parking, where there is no way to pay for parking. I then received a £25 parking ticket in the post. Signage is not clear that this area is covered by the same parking restrictions, and you have to walk half a mile to a ticket machine

Cafe menu limited. Arrived at the centre at 11:02 after a walk around the lake and wanted a bacon bap. Oh no that's only on the breakfast menu which stopped at 11;00. Ridiculous.

After our amazing wedding yesterday, we can’t recommend the The Forest Center at Marston highly enough 💒❤️🙏 Helen and her staff have been absolutely brilliant from the start (in 2019!). The venue was a perfect one stop shop for the whole day- the ceremony room was beautifully cool (on a 35 degree day 🥵) and the surroundings were perfect for the photos. The table decorations, food (BBQ) and DJ were all included in the price, so this really was the perfect venue from start to finish. Absolutely brilliant day! Thank you so much 💒❤️🙏

ATTENTION! MARSTON VALE FOREST CENTRE DO WEDDINGS!!
We hired the Rectory room for our wedding ceremony and it was perfect! The organisation by Helen Murray was excellent from start to finish, making sure we knew what would happen and when and keeping our guests topped up with drink after the ceremony. The area just outside the room is closed off to the public and the parking machines are turned off so its a brilliant place for a wedding. The venue itself is amazing, with many photo opportunities around the site in the gardens and woodland. We only had our ceremony there but we would highly recommend this venue for the full wedding package. And the price is very reasonable too!
Thank you Helen and Marston Vale Forest Centre, we had an amazing day. Up the Hatters!

Always lovely to have a walk rain or shine. After years of visiting for a long walk, we finally went to the Forest centre for a drink and a piece of cake... was really lovely to break up the walk and take a little sit down. Will be back!

I parked in the free layby at bottom of entrance. When I returned I couldn't turn around because of cars blocking the road by parking and waiting for their passengers. So I drove up the entrance road and went around the roundabout to leave the park. I don't understand why I got £100 fine!!

A nice quiet walking place in the trees, with a cafe and plenty of in and outdoor seating. Also has a kid play area and events throughout the year.

We had our wedding at the forest centre. The day was brilliant, Helen and Tracey made sure that the day was planned well and ran smoothly. The whole staff were kind, helpful and attentive to the guests and ourselves. The food was lovely and sensible sized portions. The venue itself was a great place to get married and have the reception. The rooms looked beautiful. We couldn't have asked for more. Thank you.

The lake below the wind turbine. Is this natural or formed after the clay pits were no longer quarried?

I am visiting Little Horwood on the 14th March for a photo shoot with 9 members of my family and would like to visit you.

Hi Liz -
Both the building and the park are wheelchair friendly - like some of the above customers have said, there are a few areas where the ground is slightly tougher but in general all of our paths are level, and surfaced.
